It's all a "croc" of chit. charge #1: he HUGGED a random girl. pressing charges, let alone indicting a person for battery, is driven purely by hurricane-hating malice. charge #2: the guy claims he was punched "for no apparent reason." how dubious an allegation is that? a fight between two 18 year olds, while serious business, is a misdemeanor and is rarely even brought to court. charge #3: the state attorney already said the law is not meant to be used to prosecute people who merely spray fire extinguishers or set off alarms. the law is intended for people who actually stand in the way of fire fighting (hence it is termed "obstructing fire extinguishment"--a serious felony).
