Yeah, I remember it :chair damn bandwagoners wasting there tix for sh*t when some1 like me would have wanted to stay there in the rain watching the game. anyways it would be good if we had a retractable roof to satisfy everyone and the marlins.
February 17, 200422 yr I agree with your oppinion. I personally would prefer to see an open air park, altho I understand why the team feels the need to have a roof down here....It is not a lot of fun to go to the park almost every night during the summer and get poured on....

Not that many people left - my family certainly did not. Otherwise, we would have gone to Miami for nothing! Nonetheless, it would be nice to see a stadium with a retractable roof - because watching baseball indoors when it is perfectly nice out is no fun (example: Montreal, although when I was there it was raining anyway. This was before the roof was permanently closed).

It's ironic that so many of us here on the boards like to bash "Bandwagoners" and "Fairweather Fans" (Whatever they are) when if fact these are the very same people that are essential for the continued existence of the team in SoFLa. A new stadium isn't needed because fans who already go alot need to be incented. They could play in a landfill and most of us here would still pay money and go. It's the John and Jane Q. Public, with their 2.5 kids, $150K mortgage, $80K combined income and minivan in the suburbs that they are trying to attract., these are the very same people that go through the front door of their home in suburbia on the way to a Fish game, look up at the threantening sky (or listen to thier kids whine about how hot it is) and decide to go to the movies instead.

FishFillet - that is exactly what I have been saying all along on here. In fact, a lot of us realize the importance of the 'bandwagoners' or casual fan. Just to reassure you...
