February 12, 200422 yr If you're wondering why Max Kellerman hasn't been seen on ATH the last week and a half, here's why. Contract talks between Kellerman and ESPN failed, and ESPN let Kellerman go. Sucks, really...Stat Boy is barely passable as a host. I've actually gone ahead and removed ATH from my TiVo Season Pass.
February 12, 200422 yr Does this mean no more, Max on FNF's as well? He and Teddy held that show together despite their piss poor fights.
February 12, 200422 yr :crying this sucks he was a perfect host for the show. Are you sure this information is accurate. Do you have a link for it?
February 12, 200422 yr Feces! I haven't been home in time to watch ATH in a while, but I'll miss Max. He was perfect for the role, and was entertaining. Doggone!
February 13, 200422 yr He and Teddy held that show together despite their piss poor fights. Do you mean Woody? And stat boy is alright, but it's just not the same...
February 13, 200422 yr I liked Kellerman better when he was focused on boxing. When he's dealing with everything he seems to get overly excited and overloaded.
February 13, 200422 yr :crying this sucks he was a perfect host for the show. Are you sure this information is accurate. Do you have a link for it? I can vouch for it. I saw it in the USA Today.
February 13, 200422 yr He and Teddy held that show together despite their poor fights. Do you mean Woody? And stat boy is alright, but it's just not the same... he is talkin about friday night fights hence fnf
February 13, 200422 yr thats too bad, Kellerman was one of the better personalites on ESPN, he always seemed to enjoy his FNF job and the ATH job seemed perfect...
February 13, 200422 yr I thought he was just on vacation or something. Damn. Stat boy needs to stick with stats because it's just not right for him. He's more of a behind-the-scenes guy. He's boring! Maybe they'll get a replacement. I'd do it!
February 13, 200422 yr Around the dial Max Kellerman and ESPN have parted ways. ESPN vice president Mike Soltys said the cable network notified the agent of the former Around the Horn host and boxing analyst, whose contract expired, that it will not match an offer from another network. Kellerman, who sought an increase to about $850,000 annually, might wind up at Fox Sports Net in a multifaceted deal that could include the entertainment industry. ... Mitch Mortaza, who produced the pay-per-view Lingerie Bowl 2004, said before the game he expected up to 1.5 million buys at $19.95. But pay-per-view officials from In Demand project 50,000 to 100,000 buys. Damn you were right. That really sucks. Stat boy aint bad buts just not the same without Kellerman. Kellerman had already developed relationships with each personality and it was always fun to see what they would say to each other on everyshow. Good luck Max. ESPN SUCKS!! No Playmakers and now no Kellerman. :thumbdown On a side note: AHAHAHAHAHa Lingerie bowl didnt do s***. They expected 1.5 million buys and pay per view says they only had 50,000-100,000 buys. Like a good a friend of mine said for that you could have bought a block of porn for $19.95. lol
February 13, 200422 yr Tony Reali isnt bad(lucky f***, what a break he got) but letting Kellerman, Eisen, and these other guys go is just gay
February 13, 200422 yr I agree. Kellerman will be missed. Stat boy is different, but noone is used to it so noone likes it. Kellerman had developed relationships with every guy/gal and would always make jokes about them and there would be nooone insulted. Can't do it now with Stat Boy at the helm
