I think Moss would love playing down here for a team that will contend (as long as we get Damien Woody and a few other linemen) for the Vince Lombardi Trophy... My guess, he will probably be a Viking too but I love this intrigue.
March 4, 200422 yr Facts are as they stand... The Vikings are not trading Moss. Why? They called a press conference of sorts the other day and said that. Moss, his Agent, Mike Tice, and the Vikes VP Brezinski have all said Moss is staying. End of story. Believe me, the Packers would help the Vikes get rid of Moss, because Moss just eats us alive. yea thats what texas did with AROD remember naming him captain (press confrences dont mean SH!T anymore.) dont even pay attention to what they say infront of the camera its all a load of BS because they just want to get the media out of their face. so they dont say ANYTHING controversial or that would start commotion
March 5, 200422 yr I stand by what I believe. Moss will be a Viking no matter what. Today On ESPN news, Chris Mort said the Vikes are trying to work out a trade with the Fins for Moss. He said it. It was also in print under his mug as he was talkling. I'll be happy to see Ogunleye and Madison for Moss. Chris Chambers and Randy Moss Wow!!!!
March 5, 200422 yr Yes well John Clayton was on last nights Sportscenter and he said that there is no way that the Vikings will trade Moss. And minus your smart enough to know this... Theres no way the Vikes are dumb enough to trade Moss without getting Chambers if it were by some fluke to happen, because then they'd have no WR's. I GAUARANTEE this trade WILL NOT happen. Guys think about this for a minute RATIONALLY (minus), I'm a Packers fan, who lives in WESTERN WISCONSIN 60 miles east of Minneapolis, and I'm defending the Vikings on this! Because I know that there is no way Moss will EVER be traded. Why did the Vikings give him a $15 million signing bonus? To trade him away? Why did the Vikes make Moss the highest paid WR in NFL history? To trade him away and have him count on their cap if they gave him to someone else? No way the Vikes would ever trade Moss without getting a PROVEN WR (chambers barely makes the cut on proven) in exchange. Their not stupid. Trust me there is nobody on this Earth who wants to see Moss out of Minnesota more then me! I love seeing the Purple p***y fans around here suffer like the pitiful Bears fans do. But Moss isn't going anywhere, he's the only reason the Vikings have been able to beat Green Bay the past 3-4 years. Christ he owns the Packers D! I want him gone. But I know it'll never happen. Period.
