the reason i want alvarez is because hes my cuz..lol..hes worked so hard and he has ok major league numbers and the reason that era is so high is cause of the altitude in albuquerque mixed with those high temps makes the ball fly out..hes road numbers are solid and before this weekn he hasnt given up a run in 3 weeks in like 12 apperances...

look. i didnt start this thread in a negative way. i kno they are trying hard i just dont think they are trying hard enough...watching the philles come back and rally like that makes me feel that right now they have the balls and dont care who the hell they are playing and how much they are down by, they find a way.. and good teams always FIND A WAY when things arent clicking....

You try cutting oliver or bring up Juan Alvarez to give jack another option instead of perishsux or oliver..

alvarez is the man. hes been solid in the majors..yea a 5.63 era but u have to remember that the ball flies out in alberquerque and that 9 of the runs charged to him were charged becaue the pitcher that came in after him gave up a homerun to bring in the runners on base...

if beckett goes on the dl i say we work with a 4 man rotation untill the break and bring up juan alvarez and put him in the pen.hes pitching great for the topes right now..

releivers records are misleading. perisho got two wins by throwing two pitches at the beggining of the season..

theres no way kim could be a starter.i dont know who we can put in there to fill for pavano..bad deal...

Time to give Joe Dillon and Juan Alvarez a shot...find a way to get rid of Oliver or Perisho..he can actually pitch to lefthanders.Dillon hit two homeruns tonight and has hit for the cycle twice over the past month. I don't even think the Marlins have a cycle in their history..

give alvarez a shot..he proved himself last year here be4 being demoted for vladimir...

juan alvarez will do the job..quality experience last year and with the rangers the year before...give him a shot!
