  1. You get what you tolerate, morons. Fans in real baseball towns woudn't tolerate the crap that Miami fans tolerate.
  2. You deserve a manager like Redmond and an owner like Loria, Admin.
  3. Bryan Morris isn't exactly a great pitcher either, I can't fault Red too much with the choices he had available to him. Really? You have said some things before that I didn't agree with, but that was just plain ridiculous. It's fans like you that allow this ownership to give us garbage like this manager.
  4. I mean I actually called it before it happened. I posted it as soon as he brought Gregg in, what was he doing? Why is Gregg in there and not the best pitcher in the pen not named Cishek? I'm finally disgusted to the point that I might just stop watching this team this year. Why put myself through this crap?
  5. It's not rocket science. In the 8th inning after a day off, the whole bullpen was rested. You bring in your best reliever. Period! How do you bring in Gregg over Morris? After the 1st HR, he shouldf have yanked him immediately. Worst manager in baseball.
  6. If Ramos is injured, you bring in Morris, who has been great for this team. This is just like him bringing in Marmol twice. You do not experiment around like that in the 8th inning. This mother fucker does not care if this team wins or loses. If this was Boston, New York, St Louis or Chicago they would run Redmond out of town.
  7. If there was any doubt among any of you that Redmond simply does not care if this team wins or loses, it should be completely gone tonight. 8th inning after a day off, you are supposed to bring in your best relief pitcher other than your closer. So he brings in Gregg. Fuck that idiot.
  8. Wow! What a complete FUCKING IDIOT Redmond is. Did I call it or what? I wonder what his MORONIC EXCUSE is this moron going to use at the press conference tonight?
  9. Way to go Redmond! What a brilliant manager! Kevin Gregg in the 8th inning! Not Morris! Not Ramos! But Gregg!
  10. Obviously I'm wrong about Redmond not trying to win these games! He brought in his best relief pitcher (besides his closer) to pitch the 8th inning, Kevin Gregg. Wait, isn't Gregg the best relief pitcher Red can use?
  11. Alvarez gets through 7 innings. The mark of a good pitcher is getting through the game when he does not have his best stuff. Somene compared Alvarez to Anibal Sanchez, LOL. Now Sanchy is a nice pitcher and all, but when Josh Johnson went down in I believe it was 2011, and the team desperately needed somebody to step up and be the top guy in the rotation, Sanchez failed miserably. In the same scenario this year, with the team's #1 starter going down with an injury, Alvarez has so far done exactly what Sanchez could not do, step up and be the team's #1 starter. Everyone expected Eovaldi to be the guy who steps up, but he has failed as well to step up and deliver since Jose got hurt. Now when I say "everyone expected Eovaldi to be the guy" I'm not talking about any of you guys. I wasn't here when Jose got hurt, but I'm sure none of you felt like that. I'm talking about comments I read elsewhere.
  12. Almost another error by Deitrich. So far this kid has been pretty lousy since returning from the minors.
  13. Gutty pitching by Alvarez who obviously does not have anything near his best stuff tonight. Velocity is off and command ain't as sharpn as it's been either. The question is, as always, will Redmond make some kind of stupid move with the pitching that costs the team a win tonight? Alvarez should pitch one more inning, if that. So who does Red allow to blow this one? Jennings? Dunn? Stay tuned, folks!
  14. Funny how many people are backing away from Heaney now, saying they never expected great things from him. Now I am fairly new here so I can't say what everyone on this board was saying all year. But I read a lot of different boards. And on most boards there were many unhappy guys that Heaney didn't make the team out of spring training and the second Jose got hurt they were screaming for Heaney to come up here and save the day. Now if you guys were not among those who were going Heaney-crazy and demanding he be brought up to save the Fish, fine, I believe you, ok? LOL
  15. Way to go Deitrich. He's lucky they really have nobody else right now with Hech hurt or he'd be on his way back to NOLA.
  16. Now that kid is going to be great, Yelich. Deitrich? Who knows? Yelich is a sure bet, though. Not only does he hit, he's also wise beyond his years. Look at all the walks he draws. He knows what he's supposed to do as a lead off hitter. I believe that if he didn't get hurt the Fish would be over .500 now. Losing him hurt this team big time.
  17. Actually, the Scott Olson comparison to Heaney is not fair. Olson actually started out pretty good and had double digit wins his first year. Heaney is starting out like a different Marlins lefty, Andrew Miller, LOL. But I don't think he will suck as bad as Miller sucked. In fact, I really believe that Heaney will be fine in the long run. But I do not think he will be an Ace pitcher anytime soon. A good #3 or maybe a #2 someday. He just needs to learn how to pitch up here, and he seems pretty sharp, so I think he'll figure it out eventually.
  18. Maybe the two runs will wake Alvarez up; he doesn't seem to have his usual fire and intensity tonight. And his velocity is down as well. I haven't seen any 96 or 97 readings on the gun from him tonight. I think that first run scoring after Rollins' ball fell in for a double probably pissed him off; that ball should have been caught. Now that the game's tied again, I hope he picks it up. On the other hand he just might not have his best stuff tonight. It happens.
  19. I've been trying to think of who Andrew Heaney reminds me of, he of the 0-3 record and 5.21 ERA. I think I got it: Scott Olson.
  20. Way to go Deitrich. His nickname should be "Not Ready" Deitrich. As in Not Ready for Prime Time. The Fish lose this one and the season is pretty much over for this team. In order to avoid being Sellers in a few weeks, they need to go on about an 8-2 run. Which Redmond will do his best to sabotage cause the last thing Loria wants is having to be a Buyer.
  21. Redmond is still an idiot. Ozuna has a bad wheel, so Redmond puts him in center and that ball hit by Rollins falls in. And when questioned by the TV guy about having Ozuna's arm in left, Redmond's answer was priceless: it probably won't happen again where having a strong arm in left field will win a game like it did against the Mets a few weeks ago. I swear, if Redmond isn't purposely trying to lose games, then he's the dumbest manager in a long time. I still can't get over him laughing in the dugout in the 8th inning during that last game against Oakland.
  22. Evertbody was crying for Deitrich to come back. Since returning he hasn't hit worth a damn and is still making errors.
  23. Honestly guys , these conversations are pretty f***ing stupid . You're 100% right. I got sucked in to it. I'll try to ignore it next time. See ya.
  24. WAAAAAHHH! Sun is upset. Don't cry, kid. It will cause your clearsil to wash off and your pimples will break out again. LMAO! I really gotta go. This is a lot of fun, but seriously, I do have things to do. See, I have what is called...A life! Grow up, Sun! And act online the way you do face to face. You know you don't insult strangers in real life cause you don't like getting slapped in your little mouth. So don't do it online either. It's called being consistent. Try it sometime! You will like yourself much better!
  25. And with that I really gotta go. Take care Hammerhead. You too, whatever your name is. Sun, right? Hey, ain't you the same guy who said Solano has ALWAYS sucked? Ok, now I understand why you're all mad! He did hit .295 his first year and he did bat .316 with RISP last year and drive in 29 Runs in only 76 ABs with RISP. And you got upset that I pointed that out? Grow up! Like I said, you are not a baseball genius. Nobody here is. Just guys online, that's all.
