I know now why they traded Duvall. It was to make room for Alfaro. Just when you think this FO can’t get any dumber. Even the most unlikely accidents are more prone of probability than this FO of doing anything right.

I’m comfortable being in the minority on this one when saying BA isn’t a pure GG. Pure GG are the likes of Arrenado, Scott Rolan, Jeter & Jim Edmonds. They define the skill set of what I believe is a pure GG player. I stay away from words like caliber, peers & potential when proving a point because it means nothing. My standards are just higher on how I view a GG and like I said, BA is a solid 3B when healthy (Rarely). I didn’t use a GG reference with Jeter. I made a joke about being cheap.

Well we definitely know he didn’t pay off the league. Cheap sucker.

A Gold Glove is someone who extends their position at its very depths with consistency in every situation. BA does not fall under that category IMO. He’s solid for sure but he’s no GG. You won’t find any montage highlights of BA as a 3B that’s for sure.

I would switch Pablo and Luzardo making it a R/L/R/L/R rotation

Here is what I would do. Use a 6th rotation of Sandy, Pablo, Luzardo, Rogers, Cabrera & a conditioned Sixto. I’d go with Max, Hernandez & a poor conditioned Sixto in the pen. Eder if ready would be the 6th arm depending on Sixto. Max in the pen works right away with a rotation that is already stacked. If we do trade, I’d prefer a Hernandez, Sixto, Eder then Pablo in that order.
