  1. Yeah I agree but I can’t take back my vote. If Arizona wasn’t in the toughest division though. I would bet we finish dead last in the division.
  2. Don’s is the main reason. • Hasn’t pitched matchups all year • Open starts have consumed the BP causing a shuffle in order on regular rotation days. • No changing of the guard when a pitcher clearly doesn’t belong in that order. • Not using our best pitchers (closer) in extras to preserve them for who knows really. • He has intentionally walked batters unnecessarily loading the bases. • Doesn’t pull pitchers until it’s to late (Yimi vs the Pirates).
  3. It’s not like we have no room for Lewin on this team. He needs more reps at this level. If Ng was a restaurant manager the menu would be inconsistent and out of season. IDK maybe Rogers. Now that I think of it, Arizona plays in the hardest division. Screw it, Don will find a way, he always does.
  4. The starting rotation is so good though but Don will find a way to lose. Knowing that how can anyone vote closer to 1st in the division?
  5. That’s tuff because Arizona is really bad and the Mets aren’t that great. My vote is last place if Don gets well soon.
  6. You get props for putting your word on it, so I respect that. No one said Watson wouldn’t sign though.
  7. I have Sixto behind those two as well. Cabrera is the best of the three IMO.
  8. Ng was drooling over him being another LH/B Can’t have enough of those.
  9. Stanton never hit over 40 HRs but once (59). Struck out a bunch and kinda had the injury bug as a Marlin. The contract had other factors attached as Loria was on his way out and didn’t want a mob scene by not signing Stanton.
  10. I personally would seek out a trade for Sixto in a heartbeat before Meyer or Cabrera. They won’t though, he’s to intriguing and fits the culture of what kind of players they want to wear the uniform.
  11. When there’s smoke there’s fire. Sixto has major conditioning issues that people just want to ignore because it’s a judgmental thing to say. I warned about it last year and was confirmed when he arrived in spring training the way he did. If he can work hard (not on his craft) there’s a good chance that he can be the ace of the franchise although I’m doubtful.
  12. That’s how I look at it or even worse now unfortunately. The misinformation with false assurances was just another brick in my wall for how this season is handled. 2022 roster needs some bats from a financial source and not with trades entirely. Just trading prospects isn’t enough for me to be convinced. I think offering Meyer to the Angels is a desperate move because maybe they won’t spend. Sherman needs a restructuring of Jeters’s contract based on winning not on revenue profits if he is truly serious. Hard to blame Jeter when he’s looking out for his boss based on that. Just wait until 2022 is alll we can do.
  13. That’s sounds good, but it doesn’t really add up with all the low ball offers we have seen. I’m not saying it’s all true because I read one rumor that they did offer Marte a 3or 4 year extension worth 50M? Just saying, why haven’t they locked up some players already, Sandy being one of them.
  14. Reminds me of an Adam Dunn
  15. I watched the review of it a month ago when you first mentioned it because it’s my name. My parents used to randomly call me Casey At Bat. It’s kind of my life story oddly enough.
  16. Twilight zone stuff TBH
  17. Having a trade fall through because of Alfaro would prove more incompetence then anything. I want to hear that teams like the Giants declined offers in the likes of Max, Cabrera, Eder and top tier prospects. That would be more accepted.
  18. They never had intentions of going all in or having a new look. It was a corporate stonewalling from what Marlin fans are asking.
  19. The bad part is we now have to endure a year plus of these catchers like we had with Alfaro. There is no forward momentum at all because of it and it will be their excuse for 2 years (we addressed that position with two catchers).
  20. They did none of this but the last part.
  21. The Luzardo trade was the biggest point of emphasis on how this FO operates. Big talk with bad direction and cheap commitment on winning next year. Yeah, we will have the best pitching rotation next year, but Marte was the wedge piece that would have shown how committed this FO is by getting a deal down or trading for the right type of players. (Bats)
  22. This is some Charles Xavier mutant intelligence stuff right here.
  23. Yep. I think that season he had a tragedy in the family so I really was pulling for him.
