I’m gonna toss up JJ’s struggles to not facing live pitching for a year but he played in the SEC for 3 years. He was facing High A to AA pitching and he was smoking the baseball for Tim Corbin. It’s obviously turning around now and you’re finally seeing the hitter he really is but I’m not happy with the fact we have tremendous hit tool players like JJ, Peyton Burdick, and Griffin and even they have a high K rate even though they didn’t c show this in college. That’s teaching and development of approach.

I mean I didn’t expect this much growth especially with how the rest of the system is performing.

I gotta say I’m impressed with the growth of Jesus as a hitter. It’s almost night and day with him.

You have Berti up who’s probably the fastest guy on the field and Sierra at 3rd. Put on a squeeze play. That fucking simple.
