The Fire Don Mattingly Thread
It doesn’t matter. Fire Mattingly then they promote Rowson, Posada, or Al Pedrique and it’s more of the same. They won’t go out and get a coach with a ton of experience with young teams like Ron Washington or an up and comer like Joe Espada.

Glasnow blames MLB substance crackdown for UCL injury
Hehe, what if I told you Zac Gallen might or might not have openly admitted that the Marlins are one of the worst teams when it comes to this subject?

Gonna take a wild guess, poor base running.

I took a medial year like this for Adam Jones to figure it out offensively as well and there’s a lot of similarities to LB and Adam.

LB’s swings have really improved this season as well as Devers and Jazz. I don’t know why they keep wanting to send him down. Let him face more pitching, his approach this year is miles ahead than it’s been in the past.

I keep telling y’all Jazz isn’t a SS. He’s got a cannon. Put him at 3rd or maybe experiment CF with him.

Ok so 1 thing I can definitely say for now is 1) Jesus has improved his swing even though he daddy hacked all game yesterday. 2) Lewis looks like the same dude he was last year. Approach and all.

That beautiful hit and run was just ruined by more horrible base running.

Because we have to live vicariously through good teams to feel better about ourselves.

I know, it was autocorrected

6/15 Post Game Thread
What did we build to begin with? Our system is filled with starting pitching and corner outfielders. Are going to line up 4 in the OF when they’re all big league ready? Because they way our system is set up it sure looks like that is going to be the case.

Glasnow blames MLB substance crackdown for UCL injury
See this answer here? It’s let’s me know you’ve never pitched and/or played baseball before. That combination isn’t even used to create spin rate but to dry your hands so you could get a good grip especially in cold environments and altitudes like where Colorado plays. It has nothing to do with learning how to pitch. Rousin and sunscreen has been used since the 70’s and 80’s and there are solutions just like that one that are going to be approved by baseball next year but it won’t be this year for some dopey reason.

Should spider tack be illegal? Yea. Should rousin and sunscreen, something that’s been used even before the HR era? No. You’re going to see power throwers like Glasnow hurt themselves more and more are going to. The need an easy way to get a firm grip because it relives pressure off of their arm.

Jesus Sanchez Called Up
I’m sorry but his approach looks no diffferet than last year when he batted .083

Lewis in the lineup? How about getting Coop in the lineup, moving BA to right, and platooning Dickerson/Duvall?

Somebody should put him in the trade deadline launcher.

Nice to see who’s stupid enough to think a sports opinion is the same as a political opinion or gender role opinion. Your college professor would be proud. Do you want me to leave you an application link you can apply for my company? I know times are very hard for the college “educated” right now.

Not really. He was in a front office as of 2019 in LA and a VP along side Dave Dombrowski in 2018 when they won the World Series in Boston. Can you say his best managerial years are behind him? Yea, of course but he’s been involved in baseball in some high end capacity since 2014 when he came out of retirement.

It’s absolutely washed from her 10 year absence from being in front office. Charlie Manuel is one of the best managers ever but no one is going to hire him after his decade of absence.

What does being Manfred’s minion have to do with running a baseball organization? Was she scouting? Was she helping out putting together a 40 man? Was she getting a draft board prepared? Was she preparing arbitration arguments? No, she was thinking of new ways to fuck over players.

ESPN isn’t baseball. We hired a woman that wasn’t even in a front office and hasn’t been in one for years! YEARS! And the last time she was back 2011 was with a failed regime. What she’s riding on is that Cashman was a big fan of her and this very front office is filled with her underlings that didn’t like Hill’s voice because Hill actually knew what he was doing, was a really ygood evaluator, and didn’t need these downtown Manhattan dweebs to tell him what a good Baseball player looked like.
