July 8 at commies
I was looking to buy a Jacksonville or Pensacola hat. See that they are owned by New Era, which is good since I will not by anything from Fanatics. (They are garbage) Hats are $40 and $45 these days? Will pass.

If this keeps up the Reds may put Jacob Stallings on the mound in the 9th. I can only get so erect.

Well done Eury. Crazy that he is still the youngest Marlin on the roster.

I assume the winnings will be spent on upgrading the site when Los Guerreros del Camino inevitably sweep the Reds.

Touchdown Marlins. Nothing can stop us, checks notes (Sandy pitching tomorrow), gulp. Only one thing can stop us.

7 game road trip to go into the All-Star break. The rest of the schedule sets up pretty good for July. August looks much tougher.

What can we get for Nick Fortes?
Actually, now that I think about it he will probably be a throw in in a bigger trade involving a pitcher.

What can we get for Nick Fortes?
He is clearly surplus with Gus and Liam being both better at the plate and younger. A couple of teams are pretty desperate for catchers (Padres, Orioles) and might overpay but whatt value does he really have? Also assuming Mack is ready and Fortes is several years older than all three, there doesn't look like any realistic way we keep him. He's been a good hand and a leader and throws his body on the line every game. He will be missed and will always be a Marlin.

Junk and Bachar shut down the Reds. Eric Wagaman causing chaos on the base paths. 10 in a row for the Los Guerreros del Camino. What a time to be alive? Tonight I'll be lighting a candle for St. Peter of Bendix.

Am I the only one who is reminded of Albert Pujols when Gus is swinging. Of course he's not that good, but I'll take half- Pujols even.- July 7 at the commies
Janson freaking Junk with 6 innings of 1 hit ball. What kind of timeline are we even living in? I remember the dark days of the franchise back in April where we'd put Conor Gillispie out there. No, he's not this good but when you don't walk people good things happen.- July 7 at the commies
Would like to see Marsee get a run of playing time in aug and Sept. He will probably struggle but he brings something different to the table.- July 7 at the commies
Hopefully he asks Santa for a first baseman's glove for Christmas. Save us Saint Peter of Bendix.- Kyle Stowers Selected for the All-Star Game
None of us saw this coming. He struggled mightily last year and it's great to see him get rewarded for his hard work.- July 6th- Marlins vs Brewers
Cabrera has been excellent since his adjustments and this is probably the longest stretch of his career where he has been consistently successful. Let's not put the cart before the horse just yet though. He has a history of injury troubles (blisters) and that could crop up again (hopefully not). Also, we are falling in the trap of a small sample size again. It's been about 10 starts, which is about the same number some were declaring Luzardo the Cy Young winner. Ironic since the Cabrera/Luzardo debate has been ongoing for years. Eddy looks a lot more confident, his control is better, and he is finally showing some grit and fight. If he keeps it up then yes we might have a lights out ace. Let's just not get carried away yet (I myself am guilt of this plenty too).- July 5th- Marlins vs Brewers
Missed early game but looks like great team effort. Team is falling on all cylinders right now. Let's see how long they can keep it up. Draft coming up next week. Pretty clear who the Marlins want and if he is not available what direction they will go. Jacksonville also smashing it right now. 53-32 on season. 5 or 6 prospects are getting hot around the same time. Marsee had a MVP June, Mack is starting to mash, DDLS healthy again, Pauley is actually lighting it up lately, and Max Acosta is getting better each day. Oh and our top two pitching prospects are dealing in AA. The haters have gone off the grid and it's a sight to see.- July 4th- Crue of Brue vs Flying High Fish
Disappointing outing from Sandy, again. Brewers did the little things on the base paths, something we hope to do in the future. On to the next game. Still love this team though. What a bunch of fighters.- July 4th- Crue of Brue vs Flying High Fish
I know he has been pretty good with a small sample size and he is our only lefty out of the pen, but I cringe every time I see Cade Gibson in a high leverage situation. This is a guy that was in A ball last year and he's just experiencing positive variance right now. He's not that good.- July 4th- Crue of Brue vs Flying High Fish
Otto has been really good at the plate since he moved to shortstop. Extremely surprising.- July 4th- Crue of Brue vs Flying High Fish
Sandy is one of the best pitchers in the league with no one on. Sandy is the worst pitcher in the league with men on base. it's completely mental at this point.- July 4th- Crue of Brue vs Flying High Fish
Priester v Alcantara.- July 2nd- Marlins vs Twins
One of those games where the better team didn't win. Bad luck in the 6th, but unfortunately the correct call. Missed opportunities in the 7th. Junk was gritty despite not having his best stuff. Bellozo solid too. Was like a 1-0 soccer match where one fluke goal cancels out a dominant performance. On to tomorrow.- July 2nd- Marlins vs Twins
Jeremy Tache does a very good job but man do they give him some absolute dogshite to work with. Hey Jeremy, Janson Junk's name is alliterative can you google alliterative yellow fruits from the 1870s and give us a list to read out? Poor guy has to be grinding his teeth at night.- July 2nd- Marlins vs Twins
Inefficient inning there, bad luck has to even out at some point. Still two more shots though and this is the Miracle Marlins of Miami after all. - July 7 at the commies
