Go To Hell You Complex Mother F***ers
I just read my last post and it seems to me that people can't even accept me or my creative ideas like what I posted about 6 months ago that the Marlins would get Delgado. What happened? We signed Delgado for 4 years, 52 million. Now this is the end of the line. I hope the hurricane forecasts are right and a category 5 hurricane slams right into us and shuts you the f*** up, you dumb-selfless "never-get-laid" bitches. F*** you all for your ignorance. Thanks. Peace out you peaces of terd. I was making a turnaround on this forum and then you guys rip me an ass about one creative idea. GO TO HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mike Lowell
If the Giants continue to struggle by the trading deadline and Edgardo Alfonzo continues to be hot and Mike Lowell continues to struggle, I think the Marlins should trade Lowell to the Giants for Alfonzo. They are equal in salary and Lowell would be making more than Alfonzo next season. Edgardo Alfonzo is batting .379 with 2 HR and 12 RBI this season on a losing team that will continue to lose because of their age. Do you think the Marlins would trade Lowell for Alfonzo? Thanks.

Kevin Brown
According to an article posted by Matthew Pouliot on March 1, 2005 on rotoworld.com, Kevin Brown will be a free agent next season and will sign with either the Florida Marlins or Atlanta Braves. It would be great to have him back in our rotation. What would you think about his return?

Days of creating havic on the bases may be over
The Marlins do not want to risk outs when they have a chance to score more runs in a game. Do not panic about them not stealing bases. Do you want to score runs or be thrown out stealing bases? Everybody needs to chill on this thing. Like my track coach says, "Chill dawg, chill."

CY Young Predictor
It's about damn time they get recognized by the nation as a fearsome duo. They are sure to be the leaders of our staff in the future. Thank God we have them in our rotation and don't have to face them. Thanks for the news. Keep me posted on these Cy Young Predictions.

Mike Lowell show on 790
It is great that a Marlin is doing his own show. Thanks for the info. I'll be looking forward to hearing from Mikey. One question, can you call into the show? Thanks BaseballMom.

Lineup Change
About a week ago, Jack McKeon made his best decision of his career with the Marlins. He changed the lineup and it has been on fire. We have been scoring runs like wildfire. This decision could have won us the division. We seem to be connecting on all cylinders with our offense, pitching, and defense. The only concern I have is that last season the Marlins started out 11-1 and then suffered from a total collapse. Let's just pray to God (or whoever you believe in) that this is not going to occur again this season. I want to win the World Series and shove it down the Yankee's throats. What is your opinion about the Marlins now? LETS GO MARLINS!!!!!

Encarnacion Is Red Hot!
Remember that article I posted about Encarnacion and his bat returning to normal after his grand slam in the season opener versus the Braves? You all thought that he would slide like Alex Gonzalez. Well, Encarnacion is returning to his old RBI machine type hitter again. He is tied for the most doubles in the National League and has a .294 BA with 2 HR and 14 RBI. These are pretty damn good numbers for someone who hit .235 with 16 HR and 66 RBI the previous season. I like his swing and believe he will be the key piece of our offense this season. He will continue to drive in runs like wildfire. What are your opinions now?

Kerry Wood
Earlier this morning, I read on prosportsdaily.com, that Kerry Wood could be traded. I wanted your opinion on whether or not he would be traded by the Cubs. If you select yes, where do you think he would go and who would the Cubs get in return. Thanks.

Kerry Wood Could Be Traded
Everyday, I research the latest rumors on my favorite rumor site, prosportsdaily.com, and I happened to come upon a story that Kerry Wood could be traded in order to create salary room. In addition, it has been suggested by some people around me and NOT by EXPERTS or ESTABLISHED RESOURCES, that he could possibly be traded to Tampa Bay in exchange for 1B/OF Aubrey Huff and RP Danys Beaz. It would be a great trade for both sides. It would give Tampa its dominant starter it has been seeking for years and give Chicago a lefty-threat in their already stacked lineup and a good quality closer.

After first homestand, any thoughts on Delgado?
In my opinion, Carlos Delgado is already making an impact in the lineup and is showing his value. Sure, he has only 1 home run and 4 RBI with a .333 AVG, but Delgado is not even getting hot yet. So, just sit back and relax and enjoy the show. He is greatly improved defensively and is hitting for average. P.S. Thanks for your responses on my poll yesterday. It had alot of helpful advice.

Luis Castillo
Hey, I have begun to notice Luis Castillo. He has begun the season on an awful slump. I've never seen Luis Castillo start a season like this. Do you think that he could be traded if he continues this slump? Or will he be benched and Easley start in his place since he was so successful when he started? I want to get your opinion on Luis Castillo. What is going wrong for Luis? Thanks. P.S. I reviewed the season on my MVP game and you could subtract 10 HR and 10 RBI form each total for each player that I wrote. I wasn't seeing right that day anyways. P.S. Please excuse that last post about Juan Encarnacion. I was jumping to conclusions to quickly just like Bush about Iraq.

Sign Juan Encarnacion
Juan Encarnacion appears to be back in his 2003 form and swinging the bat well. He is an impending free agent and is a cheap option to have in right field. Juan Encarnacion is only 29 and could still be improving his numbers. If we could sign him to a four year deal worth on average for $5 million a season, he would a great bargain. P.S. I think Lowell will have a monster if my MVP 2005 game is correct. I simulated the entire season and he batted .305 with 42 HR and 108 RBI, Miguel Cabrera batted .310 with 36 HR and 118 RBI, and Carlos Delgado batted .295 with 44 HR and 102 RBI.

Marlins Should Acquire Bench Help
I just read the responses to my previous post. I strongly agree with legacyofCangelosi that Conine should deserve to start a game. Maybe he could provide the spark we need to catapult this offense from its recent slump. Conine should start on Saturday against Livan Hernandez because Conine has great success against Livan. If my sources are right, he's batting near .280 with 3 HR and 8 doubles against Livan. Sure, Encarnacion is starting the season with .333 AVG with 1 HR and 4 RBI. Another player who could start is Damion Easley. Luis Castillo is only batting .176 and Easley has a 1.000 AVG with two pinch hits. He should start at second. He would add additional pop to the lineup.

Marlins Should Acquire Bench Help
When the Marlins opened their season and they had completed their series against the Braves, it became quite evident that we need to strengthen our bench. In my opinion, Lenny Harris will be noneffective this season, Damion Easley will thrive, Chris Aguila will be a great backup, Jeff Conine won't adjust to the bench role, and Matt Treanor will be great behind the plate but not with his bat. We need to make one move to acquire a bat with some pop. Mo Vaughn and Brad Fullmer are still free-agent left-handed sluggers and could add some significant strength to our bench. Termel Sledge of the Nationals is available according to industry resources. What are some possibilities in your minds?

NL East Predictions
This is going to be the strongest division in baseball. There will be a good chance that there could be a shakeup in the usual standings for the NL East this season due to all of the acquisitions this offseason. If you chose F, feel free to write your own order.

Apology To All Members Of This Forum
Now, I am reviewing all of my previous posts in the fan forum and I have come to realize one thing. I am an idiotic loser that jumps on every bit of information that comes to life. I apologize that I have made you guys angry with me and that I have wasted your time. Maybe it is time for me to leave this site and kill myself. Thanks for your attention. I hope to correct my mistakes so I can have a better reputation on this forum. God bless you all.

Marlins 9, Braves 0 Game Recap
The Marlins opened their season in front of a record crowd of 57,405 with a bang. The bats came alive against John Smoltz who exited after 1 2/3 innings surrending 7 runs while Beckett pitched a great game to get the win. Mike Lowell drove in the first Marlin run of the season with a single up the middle. Then, the most exciting moment of the game happened. Juan Encarnacion hit a grand slam, only the second opening day grand slam in Marlins history. Carlos Delgado showed why he is worth every cent of the $52 million contract by going 4 for 5 with 3 RBI and a double. The Marlins looked like they were having fun beating the Braves and seem like they have a great team chemistry. I want to hear your comments on the game. Thanks and Go Marlins! P.S. Sorry about my pervious posts about rumors. I only had heard one person when I posted those rumors. Please forgive me for making a fool of myself. Thanks.

Juan Encarnacion
About three to four weeks ago, I sent a post saying that Juan Encarnacion would exceed his 2003 numbers and is returning back to form. After yesterday's game, there is no doubt in my mind that Encarnacion is returning to his normal form from 2003. His swing is remarkably similar to that of 2003, he's hitting breaking balls for home runs with great success, and his defensive prowless showed in yesterday's game. I believe that Juan Encarnacion may stay as the starter in right field for the rest of the season and keep Conine on the bench or force the Marlins to trade him. He is looking incredible out there.

Possible Mid-Season Trades
The Marlins have had a history of making big mid-season trades under Admin Beinfest. Two years ago, he acquired Ugueth Urbina and Jeff Conine to make it to the World Series. Last year, he got a solid catcher in Paul LoDuca, fireballer and former Gagne setup man Guillermo Mota and Juan Encarnacion. There is no reason not to believe that the Marlins could make some trades in the mid-season. Here is who I believe the Marlins have expressed interest in trading. OF Juan Encarnacion 1B Jason Stokes 3B Joe Dillon 1B/OF Jeff Conine Here is who I believe the Marlins have expressed interest in acquiring. SP Barry Zito RP Solomon Torres OF Ryan Klesko OF Bobby Higginson OF Aubrey Huff One deal that has been thoroughly discussed is between the Marlins and Athletics. I have heard several rumors that the Marlins could possibly trade either Juan Encarnacion or Jeff Conine, Ismael Valdez, and Jason Stokes to Oakland to acquire Barry Zito and Eric Brynes. This would be a significant trade if the Marlins could then reach a dealo with Barry Zito for a four to five year deal. Another deal that has been discussed is RP Nate Bump to Pittsburgh for RP Solomon Torres. He is a great setup man. What are a few trades that you think could happen?

Marlins vs. Braves
Now that spring training is over and the Marlins have established their 25 man roster, we can focus on the players. This opening series against the Braves will tell me alot about our team and if they can overtake the Braves for the division title. Many experts have pointed to the Marlins winning the division, but I am not totally sold on the idea. As everyone says, "You can talk the talk, but you have to walk the walk." I believe in that saying. Now on to the predictions. Game 1: John Smoltz return to starting rotation. In game 1, it will be quite interesting to see how Smoltz performs as a starter. I have a feeling that he will only last 5 innings because the Marlins will start to jump on his fastball. Look for Cabrera to be the workhorse of the offense in this game for the Marlins. Beckett will surrender 1 run in the opener just like last season. Prediction: Marlins 5, Braves 1 Game 2: Tim Hudson debut in NL I think the Braves with Hudson will take this game. Hudson will shutdown the Marlins offense but the bullpen will give up one or two runs. The Braves should be capable of hitting Leiter. Prediction: Braves 3, Marlins 1 Game 3: Burnett Opens Season Injury-Free This will be the Marlins first shutout of the season. Burnett should strike out at least 10 batters. Mota will close the door down. The Marlins should have fun hitting against Hampton who is not sharp in the beginning of the season. Prediction: Marlins 7, Braves 0 Marlins will win series 2-1.

Idea: Get Randy Winn from Seattle
Seattle is reportedly offering Randy Winn to any team. The Marlins should trade Juan Encarnacion to Seattle for Randy Winn. Randy Winn is a terrific outfileder who can play all outfield positions. He has great speed and terrific batting abilities. He has the ability to bat above .300 and hit 20+ HR while adding terrific defense in right field. What would you think about this move? P.S. Will the Marlins make a play for Barry Zito in the middle of the season? Could they trade Jason Stokes for a big-name player from a poor team? Thanks alot.
