1. What is fuzzy's opinion of....moonbats? In what regard? The word would seem to be just another synonym for extremist.
2. Some stuff on MHD: http://www.kiae.ru/rus/inf/new/new4.htm Also, look at the cross sectional area and speed of Gulf Stream. What kind of power can you get out of a bank of submerged low speed turbines in a 3mph current ? I'm guessing its a LOT.
3. For $20, I can buy a lot of cheap dollar-store glasses. :plain What's next? an electric fork?
4. being left on a few issues left. Is the opposite also true? being right on a few issues right? 710243 naturally genius. This is not as obvious as it seems. What exactly is Fuzzy's position on the "majority of the issues"? Let me start you out with a few. Fuzzy is: - Pro-abortion - Pro-environment - Believes drugs should be legalized - Believes the US should slowly withdraw from being the "world cop" - Believes the US should work actively on alternative energy sources (MHD in particular since its well suited for small "local" type power plants) - Believes the "missile defense shield" is a waste of money - Believes the US nuke stockpiles should be dramatically reduced, eliminating all strategic fusion weapons entirely. So where is Fuzzy on the political scale genius? Doesn't sound very right wing to me.
5. its all in how you frame an arguement...in an economic view Yep, (apparent)mouth foamers get little attention from the public. Tell someone how they can save a buck and they'll start to listen.
6. From what I see here sometimes, you may be correct.
7. Its hard to get the public to "engage" on any issues that only have weak although widespread (in some form or another) support and where the downside of neglect is generations away. Its Newtonian - objects at rest tend to stay at rest, objects in motion tend to stay in motion.
8. being left on a few issues left. Is the opposite also true? being right on a few issues right?
9. Yankees - in the end it all comes down to the rebels or the empire anyway. Everything else is a sideshow
10. So why is this thread titled "Hillary '08" 709883 She's learning lessons to apply in 2008. I see Mulder is still on the black oil and alien abductions kick :lol
11. GetFuzzy posted a topic in Off-Topic
More than any other Democrat eyeing the presidency, Hillary understands the cultural weakness of the party. Her recent comments on wanting to find common ground on abortion and her appearance at a press conference with such avatars of the right as Santorum and Brownback show she has absorbed the lesson of the ?04 election more systematically than anyone else. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/7159825/site/newsweek/
12. ...but I dont know why people look at Spring Training as an assured tell of how the seasons gonna go... Exactly - one word: Castro

14. Well what can I say Wendy I type your name in for a google search and all sorts of stuff comes up. Keep digging Mulder - "The Truth Is Out There" :lol email me an address and I'll buy you a tin foil hat. BTW, this topic now has a view/reply ratio over 9 ---- closing in on the ratio of the view/reply ratio of the ATL courthouse killings thread. This one is pure black gold gusher baby! :notworthy
15. 117 views now. I'll allow 10 for the "hate factor" you bring. Keep digging that hole. Its gonna collapse on you soon.
