I remember getting mad and firing the phone operator at the Braves Ticket Office. I then handled the phone myself. It was a game against the Houston Astros and I got a call that afternoon. The lady lived in Marietta and wanted to know what gametime was so she could bring down the family for it. I asked her what time she would come down....first pitch would be when she was seated. Oh the good old days. Now Time Warner has torn them apart, but I couldn't afford the Braves anymore.

Feel free to become Braves fans. At least we have a new ballpark (ok, it was built in 1997), we fill the seats (except during the playoffs, but who cares anyways?), and we spend the money (unless Time Warner cuts the budget year after year for TBS). All is well in Atlanta.

TBS is two channels. In Atlanta, it is WTBS-TV channel 17. Everywhere else it is a cable channel showing most of what TBS 17 in Atlanta shows. Turner South is a Regional Entertainment Network that airs the Braves and Thrashers. It is similar to FSN Florida for the Marlins. It will eventually replace TBS and FSN South as the home of Braves baseball.
