Stickemupco) has learned from a source that Donnell Harvey has indeed been traded to the Phoenix Suns inexchange for Robert Archibald and Phoenix's 2004 second-round pick. The Magic plan on eventually sending this pick to the Atlanta Hawks to pay off a second-round pick that is due this year from a 2000 trade that sent guard Anthony Johnson to the Orlando Magic. Because of this, Orlando can now keep their second-round pick this year, which figures to be a high one. Roberts' source says that Harvey wasn't in condition and didn't work on improving his game. Those are said to be the reasons for the trade. We first broke the story this afternoon and RealGM's Howard Mass followed it throughout the evening. During the Orlando Magic and Toronto Raptors game afternoon, the story broke when Magic announcer David Steele told the viewing audience that Magic forward Donnell Harvey did not make the trip with the team because a trade involving him is pending. We then received word that Suns center Robert Archibald was held out of Phoenix's game at the Los Angeles Lakers tonight due to a pending trade. Coincidently, we learned via the RealGM trade checker that if the two were to be swapped for one another, the trade would work under salary cap and CBA rules. (Trade ID:1354328). There was no word from either side on where the other was headed but we believed that it was very possible that Harvey and Archibald had been swapped for each other with prehaps a draft pick also going Orlando's way

I saw it yesterday.........and I have no words to decribe such masterpiece.........I plan on watching it again.

He just signed with the Magic this past offseason.

Rod = Savior of the Magic I agree.............I cant imagine how good we would have been if we had him at the start of the season.............but I guess that tough 19 losing streak has make us better.....Also we are no longer the worst team in the NBA...... :thumbup

We play the Lakers sometime in the not so distant future right? We will face them on Feb 8........and if Im not mistaken didnt we beat them last year? It is gonna be one heck of a game. Im not saying we are gonna win.......just that it will be fun to watch.

I am impressed by Bogans, and it was nice to see Rod Strickland help out. If they continue to play like this every game we will be very tough to beat...........I wonder if we can beat teams like LA or SA.....i guess not but we are making progress....

umm, I dont know. Before this season, I really thought Juwan Howard would help us a lot. If we can play like we have the past 2 games (counting tonite) we could turn this season around. I totally agree with you...........we are finally playing like a team......... .

I'm sorry I love the magic, but I really doubt that Hill will come back and not get hurt again. I truly believe is ankle will never be the same. I agree with you he wont be the same player he was with the Pistons........if he gets hurt again he's gonna be the worst aquisition in the history of the NBA......I hope we are wrong......Go Magic and Heat!!!!

Wohooooooo finally we win a game against one of the top teams in this league.....now we need to focus on making a good trade. Last night game was a dissapoinment for me .....it proves me that T-Mac doesnt deserve the C on his jersey....I cant understand this team ..........they lose against one of the worst tems of the league and then they win against the best in the East.....Also I hope that when Hill returns on February or March he plays with intensity because right now this team has none...no fire , no desire to win( T-Mac).
