better sites? im wondering what you consider a bad site? they picked the best spring training facilities in the nation to host the 1st round. it wouldnt make sense to use a big stadium for the first round games i dont think. i mean what do you want them to come to a stadium thats changed the name as many times as they have seats.? just wondering your thoughts on "better sites"

i dont know how to put this but the USA wont win. they simply dont have the passion that the other countries do for this sport. (i.e. venezula, dominican, others) not only that but they might even come out flat, the USA doesnt play for the winter months like the other countries do with their winter leagues and such, and carribean series. dont get me wrong im all for the USA taking it, i just dont see it happening. also the "star" players dont see as much of the field until the middle/late march(example you dont see roger clemens start a SPT game till mid march) and yet the other countries have the leagues as before metioned. my prediction is venezula takes it but i sure would like the USA to get into the finals with them.

Okay since theres only really like 10 people on here that care about hockey this question is for you: given the panthers placement right now, within 10 pts of playoffs and within 15 of dead last...does the team make any trades? we have a awesome young talented team but do we give some of it for expierence to push us into the playoff picture(as we did bringing newindyke and roberts) OR do we leave the team the way it is and just watch them grow and make the playoffs next year or in a couple of years as developed. im just looking for opinions here, i know i would love to come down to south florida in may and june and watching my marlins play ball and my panthers in the hunt for the cup! im going to ask my buddy up here whos dad has close ties with the management and ill be sure to post anything i hear from him about this situation either way though its good to see this team as close as they are...

we have to pull this one off so we can have some momentum going into the break. it is a very favorable upcoming schedule and even though we are 5 pts out of the playoffs we are like only 10 from dead last. the east is going to have a crazy last couple of months, lets hope the cats can learn how to put the game away early and DEFEND the lead till that clock hits 0:00

I work closely with the WBC over at disneys wide world of sports and im going to be a batboy. the scheduling was done well. the venezula and DR game is at ONE instead of night and guess what... IT SELLED OUT IN 35 MINUTES the timing was done like that because of traffic, I-4 is one of the worst roads in florida and they dont want 20,000 people coming over at night the stadium holds 9,000 tops and they are expecting 20,000 people to be at the complex for the game the city of orlando had the final say for the timing of these games and thats what it is, regardles they still made all the money they could and the game will be awesome cuz santana vs pedro
