I read a column before the season about how Treanor had worked on his hitting & had developed a new approach or something. Seems to be paying dividends. Maybe give Treanor the starts when BK and Willis pitch, I'd like to see that. Maybe he can settle Dontrelle down. That's what i was thinking too. That way it would be about Treanor 40% and Olivo 60% giving them both a decent amount of ABs.

That was just bad luck. It was a next to impossible pitch to get a bat on. That's the risk you take with a suicide squeeze. I believe that was a safety squeeze and I felt it was very poor execution/bad play selection not bad luck. Marlins? Poor Execution? Say it ain't so?

Great interview with the D-Train on TBS. what are they saying? they were just saying how professional he is, and how he does a lot of great charity work and talkin with him about that. They asked him about the ballpark situation and staying a marlin. They praised him throughout the interview about his class. etc. dontrelle has to be my favorite marlin. he's a nice guy with class. and willie's safe!!! He's my favorite Marlin. He's my favorite player, period, since Willie Mays. Most of the Marlins fans on this board are in a hurry to trade Dontrelle though. I'd like him to spend his career with the Fish, but if we were offered a really good trade from another team for him I would be all for trading him or anyone else for that matter. Whether he's a Marlin or not he'll definitely be one of my favorite players.
