Earlier today, the Dodgers formally announced that they have hired Mark McGwire as their hitting coach. McGwire previously served as the Cardinals' hitting coach but hooked on with the Dodgers as he can now work closer to his home in Irvine, California. I am doing no-shave November. 1 of 4 weeks in, I usually fail by week 2. Too much peach fuzz is super embarrassing. Yeah that's usually what happens when I forget to shave one morning I haven't shaved in about 2 weeks. I look horrible. Worst is the scar I have on my upper lip from hockey that kind of looks like a fixed cleft lip. Someone donate me money.

It took someone like Bill Clinton to come in and shut down the more ideaological suicide wing of the party. Now everything has shifted. I dont know if it will happen in 2016, but at some point, a centrist, pro gay marriage, pro choice anti-extremist candidate will emerge from the right. I wouldn't expect a pro-choice candidate. Whereas the numbers are strong and improving re: gay marriage approval, I don't see such a shift regarding abortion. I expect Hillary Clinton to run in the next 8 years. I'm afraid to say it but I think she can win.

Florida's going Barry's way, and once that happens, it's not close. Each individual state still has ballots to count, and Florida last I checked although "Barry O's" onlyhad 90% reporting, with Barry o having a 16k lead and votes to still count. Still too close. Can someone explain to me why we have a popular vote and an electoral vote? Popular vote is somethign to make the people believe they voted. The Electoral vote is pretty much a fancy way of saying "Florida, NY, Ohio, and California are more important then Delaware, North Carolina, and Wyoming.

My precinct was at a Presbyterian church, and I was very upset with the way things played out. At the door of the church, they were handing out religious pamphlets to everyone who walked into the door. The church workers were taking advantage of the fact that their church was a polling station. Mine took advantage that it as in the ghetto. They almost intimidated me into voting.

I believe some polling places are electronic touch screen. Not sure though. That was in 08

Kouzmanoff is a solid pickup as a minor league FA. People need to realize that, at least in the infield, there is hardly a worthwhile pickup in FA. I don't remember ever seeing such a worthless year. It's a pretty awful crop. Almost just have to bite the bullet next season and hope something presents itself for 2014. That's whats really sad about last year. We completely shot our load in a terrific year for FA and ended up having a catastrophic year. Hahaha shot our load. If we sign Hamilton, Greinke , Bourn, lee, an soriano and trade for wright we'd hae everything. Bourne is going to sign a nice contract and then be one of the most overpaid and overrated players in the league. Signing a player with a career .700 ops doesn't get you over the hump no matter how good of defense he plays. I don't think you get it.

If you want a protest vote and you actually don't follow a third party candidate, just vote and vote third party! I'm not gonna tell you to vote for my guy, I'm going to tell you to vote for whoever. Go vote for Roseanne Barr for all I care (yes, she's on the ballot in Florida). But more importantly, don't miss a chance to vote on these amendments! I'm probably going to write in Admin for president. That's it, just Admin. Let them figure out which out. Those amendments are the only reason I'd show up.

I actually don't plan on voting. More of a silent unnoticed protest then a lazy thing. Neither candidate peaks my interest, and neither canidate I feel will get the job that set out to do done. The two party system is what is is - at this point it's like hoping every McDonald's goes out of business. (Remember this) I wish we could have the opportunity to have four main party candidates run, 2 dems, 2 republicans. Not only will it split their parties votes, it will provide people like myself another 2 opportunities to find a canidate they feel comfortable backing. It will also give some acknowledgement to the independents, as they will need a smaller piece of the pie to win. In that scenario, you can choose to "avoid" the poorly managed McDonald's, and "patron" the one who you feel is run right. (See how the works) That scenario will never happen, as both parties choose to try to take all republican votes and democrat votes and hope the loyalty- not the facts wins the election.

I have no idea why you continue to use the "throw a tantrum" line. It's literally the 10th time you've said it. I've been one of the most critical people here of Marlins attendance figures. Yea. Okay. Whatever you say. That was a generalized statement. Not everything is all about you and your self appointed greatness. Oh the irony.
