Idk about anyone else, If it was me... i'd apologize personally to every hitter I didnt mean to hit.. sure, it's easy to tell which ones were intentional! lol..but I think courtesy goes a long way. at the mlb level idk if you should, but it was always good at the hs level to see a pitcher give you the nod or say something to you after the game... both of which pitchers have done to me and i had no beef with... but i wont lie getting hit and then seeing no remorse from the pitcher does make people a bit pissed, did the same to me, even if he didnt mean to bean me.

dont forget miller was called up in oakland i beleive this year for one day I suppose we should run out and sign Billy Crystal as well?

Carroll is certainly a candidate for a backup OF job next year, so it makes sense the Marlins wanted to look at him for this last month. The only question in my mind is if he'd be healthy to be fully evaluated....I guess he is. I was told that he rehabbed in Jupiter Friday night and made 2 outstanding plays defensively, but his bat struggled. Yeah, he hit just .169 in 71 at-bats in Jupiter. Is there an echo in here? lol... well I mean, he did hit just .169 in71 ABs at Jupiter. :thumbup

To tell you the truth...I think Cody overreacted (unless if Pelfrey gave him a mean look that wasn't shown on TV). That didn't look intentional. It looked like a 2 seamer that ran in, and hit Cody. Pelfrey's actually had trouble with that, this year. He hit 9 batters last year, and he's already hit 11, this year. So...I think this is really stupid. i think it was more because it was the 2nd time he got hit that one in his back to me looked intentional. Thsi last one not so much.But still getting hit at 92 in the elbow id be pissed. Getting hit at 92 pisses people off, and getting hit for the 2nd time in a month or so makes it even worse... im dumbfounded by Pelfreys comments.
