  5. Wish I could... too far south... would love to gun some balls from right.
  6. I gotta go with the Ross walk off vs the Reds. I gotta go with it because the ball landed 3 rows in front of me, and it was one of the best games I have ever seen. I also gotta go with the game in Chicago we won in 12 innings, Pinella gets ejected... that was a crazy game to be at as well... But the Ross walk off is something I will remember forever, as well as the Wrigley game.
  7. Story LINK You can call Ricky Williams dirty if you'd like. But if you do, for the sake of accuracy, you should probably be calling him a "dirty hippie," not a "dirty football player." Patriots safety Rodney Harrison went for the latter. From the Boston Herald: Rodney Harrison, in fact, called it dirty. When asked if it was because Williams hit Vrabel below the knees after Brown already had scored, Harrison answered in the affirmative. “You said it better than me, Harrison said. “There’s no place in the game for that. (But) it’s part of the game. You have to protect yourself. It’s disappointing that guys don’t take care of each other, but we’ll just have to be on guard, because there’s some dirty stuff out there. I'm sure he's kidding. He has to be kidding. This is like Chris Henry saying that Warrick Dunn has character issues. It's like Scott Linehan saying Bill Belichick doesn't prepare his team very well. This isn't the pot calling the kettle black, this is the pot calling a snowflake black. This is the same Rodney Harrison who was voted by his peers as the league's dirtiest player in 2004. The same Rodney Harrison was given the same title by the same people in 2006. And the same Rodney Harrison who was voted in 2008 as the league's dirtiest player by the head coaches of the league. The Herald chose to play up the "OMG, Ricky Williams smoked marijuana!" angle, sneaking in a couple of clever digs like, "Ricky Williams hit a sticky issue," and "The Patriots weren't happy about getting smoked [by the Dolphins]." If you want to bring up the herb, it seems to me that it argues against Ricky Williams being a dirty player, as potheads are generally pretty mellow. Also generally pretty mellow are yoga instructors, vegans, and holistic healers, all areas in which Ricky has dabbled. Maybe Williams crossed the line on a play, maybe he didn't. You can make that call for yourself. But Rodney Harrison, who makes more dirty plays in a quarter of football than most guys make in a career, doesn't get the make the judgment call on anyone else.

  13. f*** Philly Phans I believe the correct term here is Phuck.. dont want to get censored!
  14. looks like a serious injury to a Bulls Montpremier (sp is probably wrong) player, he is being trucked off in the ambulance, he collided with Carlton Williams going to make a tackle as he was diving. Both went down, Williams walked off after a while, but he is being strapped up to the stretcher right now.
  15. Important games, it would be nice to have Hanley. But I would rather have Hanley healthy for all year next year than risk him not being 100% and injuring himself.
  16. Canes looking good in the 1st half vs Texas A&M. 24-10 I don't want to see any more QB rotations, Robert Marve needs to be in there every series. Based on what I've seen already, I think he'll be the best we've had since Ken Dorsey. And Dorsey wasnt even that good... Ah I hate Ohio State and BS pass interference calls... gotta love the Canes though.
  17. By your own logic, you're going from one "weak" school to an even weaker school. How does that help matters? Miami's reputation has been damaged so badly that they haven't received one point in the AP poll this year, not even in preseason. At least UCF has received points in the AP poll. And judging from Randy Shannon's demeanor lately, I don't see Miami's situation improving any time soon. Miami is still one of the top recruiting schools in the nation, they're going to get better... and they still have the reputation for being "Da U"... so even if UCF and UM were equal, beating UM carries more clout because you beat their reputation too. This is a 5 year series, so we'll catch them on the rise, what has Shannon done that's been indicative of that program not improving? And Miami has so much young talent that they will be great in a few years.
  18. "I just think it's a shame that USF won't play UCF...and I don't care about either team. It is a great rivalry for the teams and the fans. If I were a fan of either school, I'd hate to lose that." Its not a rivalry though USF outscored UCF 150 - 53 dating back to 2005... 64-12 last year... that was without Grothe in most of the game too... USF is a ranked school and on the move up, playing schools like FSU, UM, and UF are next on their slate, not stomping UCF year after year... after year... Hence why Kansas was scheduled last weekend for the Bulls. They are not the same little no name conference team they were a few years ago. They are the Big East, and arguably the best team in their Conference.
  19. Money...that's all there is to it. Anyways, FIU opens their new stadium this Saturday. I can't wait! BULLS ARE GUNNA WRECK
  20. Jay Bruce, and Cameron Maybin... NL is going to have a good CF for years to come
