Just to make things clear, Pelfrey is good, especially in the last 2 months. That doesn't give him any right to talk crap, but the title of the thread is invalid.

Getting hit at 92 pisses people off, and getting hit for the 2nd time in a month or so makes it even worse... im dumbfounded by Pelfreys comments.

Pelfrey actually had the chance to just throw water under the bridge and kill all the tension. He popped off and now he just keeps it going.

 

All I gotta is, if Pelfrey pitches in the last weekend series against the Marlins. It will be very interesting...

at the mlb level idk if you should, but it was always good at the hs level to see a pitcher give you the nod or say something to you after the game...

 

 

 

both of which pitchers have done to me and i had no beef with... but i wont lie getting hit and then seeing no remorse from the pitcher does make people a bit pissed, did the same to me, even if he didnt mean to bean me.

Cody was just frustrated and let off a little steam. It was obvious it wasn't done on purpose, even to him. He didn't handle his frustration too well during the game, and Pelfrey didn't handle the situation too well after the game. It's a wash, IMO. Let's see what happens if we face him again if Cody is in the line up. Probably nothing.

I really don't see how Cody was out of line. I think, as anyone would be, he was upset and decided to let Pelfrey know. Its not like he intentionally stood in the way while Pelfrey hit him for the second time in a month, he was hit and decided to tell Pelfrey off. I'm sure he didn't want to get ejected which is way he probably didn't go "kick his ass".
