  1. You might be surprised, the Jays g.m J.P Riccardi is a first class jack ass, (see A.J Burnett). It's not entirely impossible to pull the wool over his eyes, I'm going to go on record by saying the Jays are going to f*ck themselves over in any deal for Halladay. But Halladay and Johnson would be just like Johnson and Schilling of '01 if we were to make into the playoffs.
  2. HELL NO, HELL NO, HELL NO! I live in Toronto, (not a Jays fan). I can tell you this guy has been nothing but bad news since coming off the surgery. When the coach says " I guess we'll have to wait for blowouts to use him", that should tell you something Stay far away!!!!! The better question is what would it take to get Halladay on the Marlins.
  3. The way I see it, to win the wild card the magic number is around 90 wins. With that being said we need to go 64 - 43, or .598, or 21 games over .500, for the rest of the season to get to 90. There is some chatter about the season being over around here, I don't think we're out of it yet, but this is a pretty big mountain to climb, we can't afford to dig any deeper into the hole at this point. But the one thing I've learned about this team and franchise is that the more the odds get stacked against them, the better they perform. Maybe they need that "The entire baseball world think we're a joke, f_ck em all, let's go out there and beat the hell out of them" chip back on their shoulders. Couldn't hurt right. GO FISH!
  4. He's not struggling, he's just playing to his ability.
  5. Thank god......No-more-lasco!!!!
  6. I remember a while back a thread about us having one of the best rotations in the majors.....that was a joke, reality is we have one of the best 2 man rotations in baseball, THAT'S IT. Nolasco had 1 average year and 1 lucky year, Sanchez has been terrible since the surgery, and the verdict is still out on Miller but I'm leaning towards bust. Lets hope West and co. in the minors can help out soon or it will be a long season. The bullpen can only hold out for so long before wearing out and getting injured because the starters can't consistently go into the 6th or 7th innings. Best case scenario right now is if the offence comes out of it's slump and can give them 6 or 7 runs to work with, I know we can score more runs than this, and can vastly improve the .241 team ba.
  7. Does anybody know where I can find the tv ratings for all the Major League teams?
