  1. Thank you Marlins and Marlins fans! We are so elated here on the south side - people were setting off fireworks. A guy my dad knows owns a gas station. He had this huge fish - I don't know if he caught it somewhere or what. But he is going to hoist it above his service station in honor of the Marlins!! Whole lotta Marlins fans down here right now. There will probably be some children born in the next year who will be named Marlin - LOL! You guys have been great & I'll be cheering you on! And thanks for looking out for Steve Bartman! :thumbup
  2. You guys, I just saw a story on another board about a Cub fan who punched a Marlins fan in front of the Marlins fan's child! That is just crazy and awful.
  3. Hey Mike Ryoko, :fyou GO MARLINS!!! LOL! As if it's not about business. No, instead it's about "character" and "life" and bad luck and good luck and magic and curses. No, it's about business, you dumbasses! GO MARLINS!
  4. We can learn a lot from you guys. We Sox fans need to wear that like a badge of honor. If we do, we will gain sympathy from other people around the country who don't like "America's Team" b.s. I don't want to be the Cubs.
  5. we don't mind it here. feels good to have some allies. we're so used to dealing with haters who have no real reason to hate. You guys won my heart. We really, really know what THAT is like. We just think, "what did we do to deserve THIS". Plus, people are calling you the "mullets". We get called crap like that.
  6. http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sp...l=cs-columnists This is the JUNK we have to put up with everyday. Worse part, is every cub fan starts believing this, and repeats it verbatim. Help us put a stop to this Marlin Fans. They ARENT lovable. And the World is starting to see the Cubs for what they really are ...... A GOLIATH Organization with Millions to Burn, and ripping off its own fans im starting to feel like im in some bad science fiction movie LOL - that is exactly how we feel every day. It's like a "pod people" movie. Actually, it's like 1984. I am so pulling for you guys tonight!
  7. I hope that all of you Sox fans will come back to this board and THANK the Marlins and pledge your undying loyalty when the Marlins beat the Cubs! :thumbup :
  8. dude their baseball fans, not a gang. you make it sound like the bloods are going to drive through a Crypt territory Take it from a Chicagoan (NOT a Cub fan), you have no idea what you are dealing with. They may have lots of money, but they act like a gang. I'm serious - I lived in their neighborhood for five years. They have this total conquering attitude, fan-wise.
  9. Great going, you guys - kicking the Giants' butts! Most impressive. You won my heart. But now that you are going to beat the Flubs for us, I love you even more! If I could, I'd be flying down to support you. Or I'd be going to Wrigley with my Marlins gear. Unfortunately, only Flubbies have those kinds of $$$$. Maybe I'll just walk around the neighborhood with it, to make it look like lots of Marlins fans have invaded the city. Great website, too - it's mighty handsome!
