Ok Marlins fans. Thank you again for beating the Cubs, and I hope you beat the yankees. But, with only 11 days left until the big football game, I'd like to start the banter with a harmless GO HOKIES!

No no, Unos the Chain, and Unos on Ohio in Chicago are DIFFERENT! whatever Unos you ate at, it's NOT THE SAME! Trust us. You had garbage, the unos in Chicago (whether you think it's the best pizza in chicago or not) is legendary.

How dare you call the original Uno's a "tourist place?" (For those of you not from Chicago, the place to get the best pizza is the source of just as heated a debate as cubs-sox.)

Hey, someone take Ramp to Unos or Giordanos or something so he can have a great taste of Chicago pizza. Someone in Chicago show this guy some great hospitality. Make sure he knows he's always welcome south of Madison street (I know both restaurants are north of Madison, but what can we do about that?) Hangar? Viva?

Too bad they couldn't get Grace. He's a former Flub, yes, but he hates them now. And he's probably the funniest guy in all of MLB!

Scammin Sammy is the K king. He disappears at every pressure situation. Kind of like our Sox in a playoff series (see 1983, 1993, 2000). He didn't do to well in the last series at the plate, but his defense was slightly stepped up. Usually, balls hit more than 10 feet away from him are safe. Hopefully he continues to choke at the plate, and trips in the outfield or something.

There are also some of us in Washington, DC rooting for the Fish. I believe Far West Chicago is in the Bay area (hey FWC, did you vote today? you guys make Florida look good!) and others scattered around. Chicago is where our hearts are, but not necessarily home. GO MARLINS!

I recognize that my nickname is probably making a bunch of you upset. But I hope we can put aside our college football passions while we watch the Fish beat up on the Flubs. then, come Nov. 1 we should do what comes naturally as the 'canes visit Blacksburg. ...Wilford learned to catch in the past couple years... GO MARLINS!

one of my fellow white sox fans mentioned that you marlins need to atone for giving us "Gahndi" Manuel. Well, I'll be the first chicago fan to apologize for Wannstedt then.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Beat the cubs! We don't want to have to root for the yank-mes to do it! Sox fans will become Marlins fans for the WS if you do it. Until then, we're your biggest supporters for the next week. :banghead This is a good icon, we need it at WSI!
