Hey, someone take Ramp to Unos or Giordanos or something so he can have a great taste of Chicago pizza. Someone in Chicago show this guy some great hospitality. Make sure he knows he's always welcome south of Madison street (I know both restaurants are north of Madison, but what can we do about that?) Hangar? Viva?

Im willing to take him, but I want to take him to Lou Malnatis. The BEST pizza in Chicago.

When is he available?

i had uno's for lunch yesterday.

thanks for the offer.... im back in bloomington(IN) right now....

ill be heading back out to ChiTown shortly

Why take him to those overrated "tourist" pizza joints? How about Palermo's near 63rd & Pulaski, or Home Run Inn? Heck, there are tons of pizza joints all over with better pizza than Unos, Malnatis, Due, etc....even Giordano's and Nancy's are better, IMHO.

Due's has always been a personal favorite....yum

Just make sure to get him some good Italian Beef somewhere. It's the first thing I always do with people from out of town...

How dare you call the original Uno's a "tourist place?"

(For those of you not from Chicago, the place to get the best pizza is the source of just as heated a debate as cubs-sox.)

almost like BBQ or even more so Mexican food in San Antonio it seems.

Please Lord, don't allow a Cubs Yankees world series -- they'll argue over pizza.

Chicago Pizza is the best anywhere

Now here is someone who knows real Chicago pizza. Palermo's is the best. I will take any neighborhood pizza place as opposed to the overated tourist ones.

For many years, we had an Unos right in my neighborhood (Kendall Town & Country in Miami). Im sure it wasnt as good as some other Chicago pizza places, but it was the closest we had to it down here. A couple years ago it was closed and replaced with a Cuban restaurant. Now, we dont have any Chicago-style pizza down here and I miss it.

No no, Unos the Chain, and Unos on Ohio in Chicago are DIFFERENT! whatever Unos you ate at, it's NOT THE SAME! Trust us. You had garbage, the unos in Chicago (whether you think it's the best pizza in chicago or not) is legendary.

Vito and Nick's on about 83rd and Pulaski is the best. Small sit down place that doesn't deliver..... so you know it's good if they make YOU go to THEM to get it.

Am I the only one here that hates Chicago Stlye Deep Dish pizza?
