  1. As a Sox fan, it's nice to see some kind thoughts from our friends in Florida. Here's wishing Florida and the Marlins all the best :thumbup . BTW..... Sox fans haven't forgotten what you did for us in 2003 :thumbup . I still love to relive that glory from time to time :lol .
  2. Congratulations and way to go delivering the knock-out blow to the hated NYY's. The Florida fans definitely deserve it after ridding Chicago of all things sCrUBBIE..... at least for 5 months. Just wanted to post this to let Marlin fans know that this Chicago White Sox fan didn't forget about what your team did for us. I was in Las Vegas and just got back. BTW..... hope all goes well in the Sunshine State and you guys get financing for a Marlins baseball stadium. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you here in Chicago. PEACE!
  3. But seriously, I wouldn't call us the biggest babies in the world. 95 years of heart ache. There is no doubt Cubs fans are the best in the world. We filled the place all year, while you guys were not even drawing 20,000. Now it seems at this place there are some pretty big, loyal Marlin fans. But on the whole, you guys didnt show up till you were in the playoffs. Too bad World Series appearances and Championships aren't determined by attendance huh?
  4. Me and Guido (A Sox fan and friend of mine) are already planning our trip down to S Florida next season to watch the White Sox take on the Marlins. I'm sure you Marlin fans will not find White Sox fans half as obnoxious as Cub fans. I hope the majority of posters on this board can make it out to PPS next season so we can meet and party with all of you. Also have to remember to bring my, "THANK YOU FLORIDA" sign :lol
  5. Congrats on a board milestone too Fish Fans. The Organization and the Florida fans deserve the recognition that they are going to get.
  6. I said it once, and I will say it again..... THANK YOU FLORIDA MARLINS!!!!!
  7. You guys have no class. But I seriously and truly am thanking the Marlins for a great series, as much as it hurts. Neither do fans that threaten a fan of their team with death, profanity, and flung objects. Not to mention, think of all those little kids that got to hear the A$$H0LE chants from the "greatest fans in baseball"..... according to Thom Brenneman. Talk about class.
  8. Hey...what's up Espo? Espo's a cool Cubs fan....if there is such a thing Yo Matty..... let's hoist one to the Cards in the NL Central in 2004 :thumbup
  9. Yeah I wanna thank the White Sox fans for their hospitality. It's been fun. I wonder who's fans will be popping up for the world series. :mischief2 I'll be here from now on :thumbup
  10. Hasta La Vista..... sCrUBBIES!!!!! :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol THANK YOU FLORIDA!!!!! MARLINS=CUBKILLA'S!!!!! Good luck in the World Series. I'll be cheering for you guys 100%!
  11. This guy better moved the hell out of Chicago. They were spilling beer on him. He should move down here to South Florida....He would become quite a popular guy. :lol He'd be welcomed with open arms next year at USCF :lol
  12. No one's giving the Marlins props. A shame that the national medias head's are so far up their a$$e$.
  13. That "diehard" Cub fan is a GOD!!!!!
  14. Florida just did what most in Chicago thought was impossible..... beat Prior. The media here was talking that Game 6 was going to be automatic. Steve Stone GUARANTEED a win tonight. Way to go Marlins!!!!! Go Redman! Go Marlins!
  15. THANK YOU FLORIDA!!!!! The dejection throughout CubDumb tonight is priceless!!!!!
  16. You guys ain't out of it yet. Just take one game at a time. The last time the Cubs were one game from the WS was in 1984..... and they lost the next 3. But it don't look good.
  17. As a White Sox fan from Chicago, I'd like to second the kudos already echoed about this site. Although the Cardinals are my favorite National League team because, like Sox fans, Cards Nation absolutely despises everything sCrUBBIE, the Marlins and your fans that post here are nothing short of class. If the Marlins bounce the sCrUBS from the NLCS, I promise that I'm coming down from Chicago next summer for a weekend to take in a weekend series at Pro-Player Stadium. It figure it would be the least I could do. Perhaps even be able to see a White Sox/Marlin match-up since the AL Central will be playing the NL East in interleague next season.
  18. I don't really care if you like the Cubs or you hate the Cubs, their fans show up win-lose-or draw. That's kind of the point of the whole "loveable loser" articles you have been choking on lately. That would be an accomplishment if Wrigley was filled with rabid diehards year-in-year-out. However, the majority of "fans" at Wrigley aren't there for the baseball game. They're there for atmosphere, beer, BS-ing, and because the National Media tells people that baseball at Wrigley is the trendy thing to do. Baseball to most of CubDumb is an afterthought. Case in point..... Sox/Cubs interleague game..... 2001..... ShamME hits a HR..... all of Wrigley wearing sCrUB blue going nuts including a girl in front of me..... and she turns to a Sox fan and asks, "What just happened?" CubDumb=Tools that need to be led..... like sheep.
  19. Do it. PO the national Cub-loving media to no end. Bring signs too. Baseball fans world-wide should never let ShamME Soso forget that he is a cheater.
  20. Am I the only one here that hates Chicago Stlye Deep Dish pizza? No. And I live in Chicago :lol
  21. Correct me if Im wrong, but wasnt Lowell's home run also a basket shot? Im not sure if it would have gone out or hit off the top of the wall? Poetic justice. Lowell's HR ended up in the basket designed early on to catch the drunks as they fell from the stands. Nothing PO's me more than a "Wrigley Basket" HR by a Cub. So happy to see the basket finally work to the oppositions advantage last night..... even though Lowell's HR hit off the top of the CF wall and ended up in the basket. :lol
  22. Vito and Nick's on about 83rd and Pulaski is the best. Small sit down place that doesn't deliver..... so you know it's good if they make YOU go to THEM to get it.
  23. I was an Angels fan, but I can't stay up until midnight to watch. My sisters are Sox fans, dad's a lyal Braves fan...I have my team. Basically anything but the cub. Christy You and your sisters have good taste in baseball teams :lol
  24. Lyons and Leiter sounded like they were going to orgasm. thank God the camera wasnt on them :confused who cares, im used to it, we all are. i dont let it bother me, as long as the team does its thing they cant say s*** without looking stupid Now you Marlins fans know what we Sox fans here in Chicago put up with on a daily basis every summer :lol . The exact same crap, day in, day out.
  25. did anyone else notice how the anouncers cheered when Sosa homered and there was dead silence when Mikey went Yard-O? That PO'ed me more than the HR. The HR didn't win the game..... just tied it. Brenneman used to announce for the Cubs. Lyons and Leiter sounded like they were going to orgasm. Very unprofessional from what should be, since it's national, an unbiased and very call-it-as-it-happens broadcast. They're all tools.
