a fastball, and he hits it out. I was PISSED in this bar i was at last nite.

I agree. Those strikes were called all night long, but for some reason the UMP didn't like Beckett throwing perfect pitches! I was very pissed.

Yea The Marlins are not a team that quits. We had like 4 losing seasons in a row and we still havent quit! Thanks for supporting.

I think those 2 pitches were strikes as well. Wrigley field is the only ballpark in America that the outfield wall says 368' and you can hit a ball 367' and it is still a home run. A basket on the outfield wall, what is this, Skeeball? That park sucks, I don't know why people love it like they do.

I, too was impressed with the Marlins from what little I watched of the game. It was amazing how many times the Big Fish came back when it looked like it was over for them. The scrubs are somewhat complacent, they think the Marlins are easy to beat. It will be huge when they beat crybaby prior tonite.

Poetic justice. Lowell's HR ended up in the basket designed early on to catch the drunks as they fell from the stands. Nothing PO's me more than a "Wrigley Basket" HR by a Cub. So happy to see the basket finally work to the oppositions advantage last night..... even though Lowell's HR hit off the top of the CF wall and ended up in the basket. :lol

The only Marlins games I've seen this year have been playoff games, but like everybody says, this is one exciting team. They're hungry, they WANT to win. Keep up the good work and kill the Cubbies. And go Dolphins!
