I got my Marlins 2003 NL Champs shirt off mlb.com... With shipping to Central Illinois, it isn't that bad and I'm hoping that it will be in for Game 1 of the Series. Go Marlins. :cool

maybe Prior in game 5 and Wood in game 6? just something i read about on a cubs website I think they want Wood for Game 7, but if they are down 3-1 you can pretty much look for Prior game 5. He is beatable and so is Wood, nothing big. If Prior has to go on short rest I think the Marlins will be able to get to him; he threw 116 pitches in Game 2.

I think it will be different than Atlanta because even a day before the NLDS started, there were thousands of tickets available, so their scum ilk had opprotunity to meander on over. Winning the series before the Cubs did helps this for the Marlins. Also, how many of these clowns do you think can take more time off work for the Cubs? I know many of them live in some yuppy fantasy world, but come on.

Kerry Wood + 65,000 fans = Rick Ankiel? just a thought... Maybe if you inserted Zambrano or Cruz I could maybe believe that but no way and I mean NO Way that happens to Wood. Wood is better than Mark Prior IMO Wood has the ability to go out there and throw a gem any day of the week. However, unlike Prior (or at least as far as I've seen), he's also got the ability to go out there and get lit up. He didn't pitch that well in the NLDS, the Braves just choked (who's surprised)... This is a more winnable game than Game 2 was for the Marlins.

Big win... I wish my Sox had shown 1/4 that much heart this year; else we'd be gettin' ready to battle with Boston for the ALCS. :banghead GO MARLINS!

btw- Do you guys get irked when people (sportscenter) call the Sox the Pale Hose or do you like that? I call the Sox the Pale Hose all the time... What does irk me (and most Sox fans, I would assume), is when SportsCenter refers to the Red Sox as "the Sox."

I am another in the long line of diehard Sox fans here to wish the best to the Marlins so they can level the Scrubbies.
