White Sox fans will not abandon you, the Marlins fans. Regardless of the outcome of this series, you will continue to have us as an ally at your disposal. Even if you, God forbid, fall to the Cubs in this NLCS, we will not turn against you or anything of the sort. We will certainly remain allies and root for the American League champion, even if it's the hated Yankees, in our never ending campaign against Cubdom.

And when the Marlins season does come to an end, no matter if it's Sunday or Game 7 of the World Series, our dialogue will continue. A lot of White Sox Interactive users have really enjoyed being here. Your website has sort of become a Florida home for us!

If nothing else, you have wholeheartedly substantiated our longtime claims that the Cubs and many of their fans are anything but the "lovable, cute, and cuddly" individuals the Chicago and national media portrays them to be. As the antics of the hardcore a**clowns are exposed, we are providing an important fifth column in our joint anti-Cubs campaign.

On behalf of all of us here associated with the White Sox, I would like to thank you for allowing us into your cyber home. You have been wonderful hosts, and I hope that we have been equally wonderful guests.

Of course, we are not writing off the Marlins. Sure, things do not look good right now, and we Sox fans always tend to think the worst the minute something goes wrong. That is in our nature because of the 86 consecutive seasons of heartbreak we have had to varying degrees. However, we will ride this out with you and beyond.

Good luck regardless of what happens!

Actually, I like to think of myself this way:

Viva = Al Franken (with apologies to those of you who don't like Al Franken)

Well said, Viva. I really like this website, and the Marlins fans around here are really cool. I'm sticking around, and hoping this alliance lasts. Without question, the Marlins are my 2nd favorite team now, and I hope the Marlins fans around here feel the same way about the White Sox. No matter what happens...Go white sox and go fightin' fish!!!

Next year, the Marlins will play the White Sox in Miami for their first ever regular season meeting.

Glad to have you here. I've learned a lot about Cub fans recently, and could not agree more with your assessment.

I have been to New Comiskey / Cellular and enjoyed it a lot. Especially the OF where you can walk from pole to pole and still see the game.

Good luck in 2004.

Really?? When is that?? I might try and get down to Miami for that series. After all, I will be 18 by then :D LOL.

I dont know when it is, but I know next year in interleague play, the Marlins play at Cleveland and Detroit, and home against Chicago, Texas, and Tampa Bay. Someone that got one of those 2004 schedule magnets should know.

Alright thanks, I seriously am considering going down to Miami for that series though if I can. Don't worry, sox fans aren't as obnoxious or numerous as those ****ing cubs fans lol. Wow though, you guys have an easy interleague schedule next year.

The Marlins play the White Soxs June 15-17.

Sweeet!!!! I'm going to find a way to get down there for at least one of those games. I think i'll ask for that for my graduation present, so maybe i'll get down there without paying for anything. :D

Thanks guys for sticking with us

It's glad to know we have an allie team in the AL

Thanks for you ongoing support and hope you guys will stay with us here for many seasons to come.

I can't speak for everyone, but I know me and Viva are sticking around. I guess us Magglio Ordonez fans are the smart ones :D . You guys for sure have an ally in the AL, except for the 3 games we play you guys next year :cool . But good luck guys, keep the faith, your season isn't over yet!

VivaMaglio:

You have shown a lot of class. Honestly, I thought you were exagerating about the Cubs fan. But I have to say your assessment was right on the mark.

Good Luck in 2004!

Go Marlins!

Go White SOX!

its been great having you guys here.

its been great having you guys here.

Thanks, I just hope you guys let us stick around after this series and such, because it's really nice being around here. I'm going to have to brush up on my marlins knowledge :D .

You guys ain't out of it yet. Just take one game at a time. The last time the Cubs were one game from the WS was in 1984..... and they lost the next 3. But it don't look good.

yall are always welcome around these parts.

always nice to have fans of different teams offering different perspectives on things related to baseball and such.

Thanks a lot, and even IF, and that's still an IF, you guys lose, you still have a very young team for the most part. I think the Marlins, unlike in 1997, are built well for the future. Although i'm not sure on the contract status of your players, you look like a young team who will be competitive for several years to come.

we both have something in common... seething hatred for Cubs and there fans... and if you live in Miami, refs

Viva, I think you are taking this a little too seriously. :lol

Anyways...I'm staying. Marlins fans are great it seems based on this site...plus A.J. Burnett is still and has been one of my favorite pitchers. Marlins are easily my #2 team.

There's a little chunk of hope to hold onto ... :(

It doesnt look to bright now but im stayin with the marlins. I cant wait untill we play next season either way i will deff be supporting u guys. GO FISH!!!

A big thank you to all the White Sox fans who've been visiting & helping cheer on the Fish. You're all great & the White Sox are lucky to have fans as passionate as you.

Been nice having the support when it seems like the rest of the country is against us...

I've always liked your team, & I'll be rooting them on in the AL Central next year.

This series ain't over yet though. Keep believing!

White Sox and Marlin fans together! A force perhaps even greater than France!
