Bartman coaches a team in my hometown and i work at the batting cages, so i know ive seen him before, and he probably even ask me what was goin on in the cubs game acouple times and i would always say that they were goin to blow it like usual. But he has free batting cages for life from me at least.

Is there goin to be the same hype around his kid as with Kobes accuser? There were people posting her pic and contact info all over. Im assuming that kid is a highschool student so there are probably hundreds of teenagers who know who he is and u know there will be those few jacka**es who will get even by giving away his info.

My aunt and Uncle live in Niles. That's quite a drive from Nile to Wheaton every day. Man its a small world. Yas it was a pretty good drive especially in rush hour it would take at least an hour. Where in Niles do they live do u know?

Hey i worked in downtown Wheaton and Glen Ellyn last summer. They were really nice towns. I would have worked there again this summer but i couldnt stand the rush hour traffic from my house in Niles.

Ive heard alot in some threads about 1984. I assume the cubs blew it big time like usual then but i was just learning to crawl so i had already learned to hate the cubs but had no idea what was goin on in the game. How close were the cubs? Can someone fill me in

can some one please refresh my memory, What is the curse of the billy goat? i heard OF it but i just do not recall... The billy goat curse got started when someone tried to bring a live goat into the stadium and the cubs didnt let it in. Thus starting the curse. Since then they have brought live goats in on several occasions to try to remove the curse however we all know that the curse is still there as we will see for the next week

I am always up for allittle trash talkin but when u just post pointless messages with completely unrelated titles u should look at your life and see that u have way too much time on your hands and in the words of Lee Elia "go out and get a (blanking) job and find out what it's like to go out and earn a (blanking) living." If u posted this crap over on the Sox board u definately wouldnt have been around very long PS. For those who dont know Lee Elia was a manager for the Scrubs back in the early 80s and went off on the fans one day. As u can see it wasnt the nicest conversation. Really sums up cubs fans though.

I have actually thought of making duplicates of the CUBob and actually setting them on fire at the games however my funds right now can afford a new scrub jersey for how often i would want to set it on fire.

I dont know if tailgating is big down there but for the Cubs/Sox series i made a CUBob. It was a big grill with a teddy bear in a cubs jersey being rotated over the coals. It was a huge hit and made the pregame show on ESPN. U cant forget the piece of cork in the bears mouth either.

Are tickets sold out already? and if they are did they sell out before last night? I really hope that they were already sold out so u dont have all those Flub fans comin down.
