  1. Doesn't matter. He sucks ass. He's the reason for all of our problems so who cares? Finally we have some leadership at 3B tonight. Hopefully we trade him and take on Carl Crawford's contract in a week or so. Anything is better than Hanley. 100 % agree. A selfish player who doesn't respect or care about the game. It's a toss up between you and oldtimer for the worst fan award. You two need to learn sarcasm. Yea. I wasn't referring to just one post. Dudes the biggest bitch on this board. But thank you again officer

  3. That isn't the way it works.
  4. Trade Anibal and Infante to Detroit for Nick Castellanos and a prospect. The Tigers wouldn't trade their prized prospect for Infante and Anibal. At least I would think not... Anibal is an above average quality starting pitcher and Infante is a piece that could help them with the playoff push. The Tigers are in win now mode. They're all in and I believe will be shopping. Anibal is also a FA at end of yr and Infante will be a FA next yr. You're not getting Nick f***in Castellanos for that. LOL
  5. If we are sellers, then Zambrano, Lee, Anibal, Omar, Ricky and Gaby can get us some stuff without harming the core of the team. If Bell is shut down - and we are still sellers, then we can move him for value and get out of the contract. it is unfortunate that Juan Carlos is injured, that is another trade piece. If the team just moves towards its collective career norms, then we will not be sellers and will be pushing for the postseason. That core of players will not bring back what you think. 2 impending free agents. 2 that will be free agents after next yr and Gaby.
  6. Very few teams have a farm system strong enough to get Stanton. Texas Rangers are one of the few that do, but I highly doubt they'd be willing to give up what it would take. Also, for those crying, the Marlins have one of the weakest farms in baseball, it has to be restocked somehow.. Start w/Anibal, Hanley, JJ and see how dumb teams get over Stanton.
  7. Somebody's going down. Book it. It's the only thing that hasn't been tried yet to spark this team. But I agree w/squall.
  8. Heaney was considered an over-reach. Top 8 in this draft were all that mattered. Heaney would've been gone by 21st pick but still a reach. Marlins offered 2.6M, the slot calls for 2.8M. As long as the offered 80% they'll get the 10th pick in next year's draft for sure. This isn't that big of a deal.
  9. I'm a big Mike Lowell fan but comparing his impact in the lineup to Stanton is LOL funny. Outside of a trade for an impact player, this season is over. They have to start thinking about the future and it starts with trading Hanley before his value becomes Arthur Rhodes part III. One game under .500 with over 75 games to go and the season is over? Haha! Where have you been? I said this two days ago. Quotes say you said this today. An hour ago. :lol Sorry, Officer. 1 day ago. Earlier in the thread.

I'm not Tom Brokaw breaking news here.

  12. Stanton's numbers in May and Marlins record in May aren't a coincidence. There isn't enough on the active roster to make up for the loss.
  13. Does anyone not care that this season is officially over?
  14. Guys, bell is a really bad pitcher. Like really bad. I see absolutely no signs that he won't cost us many more games. He is really bad Is he really bad? How bad is he?
