March 29, 200422 yr I got tickets to see the Marlins @Wrigley on Sept. 10th. So I will be there...first game since we beat them in Game 7 of NLCS... The flipside of this whole issue is this: What if the Marlins do really, really well with attendance? Then critics will say they DONT need another stadium - not that the financial aspect of all this, ahem, H-bomb's evil lease, could be overlooked. Just a thought.

March 30, 200422 yr No dice on Opening Day being a sellout as of right now, I checked ticketmaster and up to 5 seats together were found (I stopped after 5). Seats aren't too bad either.
March 30, 200422 yr Best seats in the stadium are now in Section 426 which is upper deck, right center field. Only 8 or 9 sections left to sell......so does look like it will be a sell-out. the walk up traffic would be enough to cover that. :thumbup
March 30, 200422 yr Maybe I'm all wet with this but I heard that Opening Day was a sell out. It is and it isn't. The Marlins consider it a (baseball) sellout at some number around 40,000 (1truefan or someone can tell you the exact number) but the stadium has 67,000 seats.

March 30, 200422 yr Lets hope it sells out. If we can get 60,000 for opening day and 40,000 for april 10th that would be a great sign. So 200,000 for opening week might be possible after all. I will be at 4 of the first 6 games.
