Heckeroo
been seeing a lot of them lately, mostly college and High school, which have both been better than the NBA's
Rebirth
I still say the NBA. The NBA should try to get Vince Carter, Kobe Bryant, and Tracy McGrady in the Slam Dunk Contest. Carter and Bryant are probably scared that they'll lose to each other.

AniR300
Are you kidding me Candace Parker 'no look' and whoever it was over a few 3 foot kids? NBA hands down, remember the reachback one hand slam?
Heckeroo
NBA might be the best, but it VERY rarely lives up to the hype i still think high school is better, Candace parker should not have won, that's for sure

KJC
anybody remember the original "East Bay Funk" by J.R. ( call me Isiah ) Rider? he first pulled it in the college midnight madness event then in the NBA dunk contest. that was the sickest thing i ever saw at the time. Rebirth
In the NCAA competitions, they never have the best players suited for the 3 pt contest and the dunk contest. As much as I hate JJ Redick, if he was in that 3 pt point test, he would have won.

miami15
Whenever the best compete in the NBA dunk contest it is the best one. In 2000 when Steve Francis and Tracy McGrady put on memorable shows, Vince Carter still won in a landslide. Years like that make the NBA Dunk Contest the best. And Vince and Kobe certainly don't enter the dunk contest because they have more to gain than to lose. Vince is the best dunker ever but if he has a poor performance in the Dunk Contest it'll ruin his rep. Plus the NBA put that gay s*** where you have to be in your first three years in the league even though Vince said he probably would've entered this year. Accord
You guys need to realize that Vince is done with dunking, he has already admitted that he can no longer do the insane dunks that he used to be able to do and he has come to rely solely on his jump shot. His vertical has gone from something like 45 inches in his prime a few years ago and now it is in the low 30's, and it's only going down even more from there. Vince will never enter another dunk contest, right now he isn't even one of the top 5 dunkers in the league and he knows it and has admitted it; and over the next few years we will see his outside game improve. bman8316
The NBA could be the best if the big name players actully competed. Imagine what that would be like to have T-Mac, Kobe, Vincinty(sp) and Lebron all tring to out due each other with dunks.

Vince can still dunk with the best of them. He doesn't in games. He doesn't even attackt he basket anymore. But to say there are 5 better dunkers in the league is laughable. Vince won't be doing any big dunks in games but he still can dunk with the rest of them.

Once VC is healthy, he'll can the dunks that everyone wants to see. I personally think he is scared of losing since he's known for his dunks and 3 of the last 4 all star games, he was the leading vote getter.
