Nugget
I'm the Pirates in my dynasty Red Sox get: Jason Kendall and his 3,300+ a year contract Jose Mesa Pirates get: Jason Varitek (makes about 1,000/yr). He hit a 498 foot 3 run homer in his first at-bat as a Buc. He also hit a double later in the game. AA Shortstop prospect. He's 6'4" 220. They made him out to be the next A-Rod in scouting. Dumped over 2,000 in budget points The other trade. Cubs get: Raul Mondesi (makes around 2,650/yr) Jim Mann Pirates get: Pitching prospect Chris Turnbow from AAA Iowa. In his scouting they called him a "flamethrower" and built him up to be the next Wood/Prior. He's only 21. Dumped over 2,500 in budget points. My team is already 18 - 12 and my staff is out of this world in ERA.
Joe
Great trades, I espicially like the Varitek one Mesa is useless and with the contract Kendall has I would of done it just for the propsect but you got a great player in Varitek also. I'm finally getting into this game, it's so awesome.

QuickGold
Good trades. My fave thus far has been Jose Cruz Jr & Jesus Colome for Derek Lee. Dumped Cruz Jr's salary & Colome's bitchiness for a better bat.

Rune
I dumped Bell for a minimal prospect just because Wooten has been great for me and signed him to 200 for 3 years(I got MVP as a birthday gift a few days ago), I put Wagner on the block because I have Gagne and he complained about being a set up man. Here's the gagne trade: K Michaels Milton(I signed Maddux) and a minimal prospect

Rune
The players b***h about their roles? thats awesome, i may need to buy this game. Yeah, The gameplay is a little above average but The Franchise mode is unreal.
JBurque
Do most of you sim your games since the gameplay is so-so?
Rune
Do most of you sim your games since the gameplay is so-so? I play most of them, I mean the game play is not horrible but baserunning could be better but then again I got it on Gamecube and I'm used to playing sports on PS2. I think it's worth the buy compared to the others on the market.
JMLinkinPark
That Prospect you traded for Might be Hanley Ramirez

I think it's worth the buy compared to the others on the market. better than WSB2K3? A slight edge to WSB but I still think THe Franchise is worth it, having complaining players plus during negotiations they'll complain about the playing time they want. Originally, Maddux wouldn't sign with me because I only promised him a spot starter to see but eventually he signed on as a starter. Same with David Bell, I tried resigning him at a lower price but he wouldn't accept being a bench player so he was traded. It's a great in depth franchise. Rune
I need to learn how to hit the long ball Just a note currently Pat Burrell is on track to hit 102 homeruns by the end of my season and I'm at game 31 On the gamecube version all you have to do is hold up to get into power mode. QuickGold
I play all my games. And if it's better than WSB2k3, that's a toughie. The franchise mode is better than the season mode on WSB but gameplay was slightly better on WSB.

SorianoFanHFW
My brother's quest to cleanse the yankees: Giambi for Erstad and prospects Esrtad for prospects (to the whitesox) Tom Gordon for Chris Hammond Kenny Lofton for Juan Cruz and prospect Hideki MAtsui for prospects Ruben Sierra and Miguel Cairo for Lefty from Royals and Ron Belliard Felix Heredia for Frank Catalonotto Gabe White for prospects The yankees slashed 37.5 million of payroll and the AAA squad has a .666 winning percentage (because of all those propsects.) My brother virtual manages games unless Lieber or Brown is pitching (on all star mode) and the team is 80-20. Not bad for a beginner I guess. QuickGold
I've been on a bit of a payroll binge as well....btw, is it just my game, or does Toronto offer Delgado in trade offers like crack in the ghetto?

No happens to me all the time, I was considering trading Wagner for him(after Bobby went down) seeing that both will be FA after this year and I have Gagne but Mondesi is fine.
