He was in Philly to make the case that the Phillies were transformed from a small-market team on the brink of extinction all because of the publically-financed ballpark. Nevermind that the Phillies' new stadium is in the same district as the old one and had a very favorable lease.

Phillies are cold now, but I don't think they're going away just yet. They may be a bunch of gutless wonders, but there's too much talent over there for them to just disappear. Bowa better win real soon. I really think he could be fired within the week, if things don't turn around fast.
