April 21, 200422 yr I was just reading an article on espn.com that was saying that the reason that Andres Gallaraga hadnt played yet this year because he had a recurrence of cancer. Of note to Marlin fans here is a quote from the article: "He's better now, he's much better," Giants third baseman Edgardo Alfonzo, a fellow Venezuelan and former San Francisco teammate, told the Times. "I haven't heard anything negative. I heard he wants to come back during the All-Star break, but he doesn't want to play far from his family [in West Palm Beach, Fla.]." West Palm Beach seems pretty close to So Fla and Miami to me, just some food for thought

April 21, 200422 yr I also hope that he stays healthy. But do you guys really think that there is a need for him with the Fish.
April 21, 200422 yr I wanted him in the offseason before we signed Cordero. He hit over .300 last year and still has some power. I still remember that mammoth shot he hit at Pro Player off of Brown a few years back.
April 21, 200422 yr what bout instead of harris? no way.....if we send down lenny than he will probably retire and i do not want that to happen. rather send easley than mordi or lenny.
