ALL-NBA FIRST TEAM

Forward: Tim Duncan

Forward: Kevin Garnett

Center: Shaquille O?Neal

Guard: Kobe Bryant

Guard: Jason Kidd

This list never changes expect for the the other guard position (J. Kidd).

ALL-NBA SECOND TEAM

Forward: Peja Stojakovic

Forward: Jeramaine O' Neal

Center: Ben Wallace

Guard: Sam Cassell

Guard: Tracy McGrady

I think JO should have been on the 1st team as a center since he has done extremely well this season. Peja and Cassell deserves to be on list.

ALL-NBA THIRD TEAM

Forward: Ron Artest

Forward: Dirk Nowitzki

Center: Yao Ming

Guard: Baron Davis

Guard: Michael Redd

I'm shocked that Redd made it to the 3rd team. It's too be to see International superstars Yao Ming and Dirk making it.

All-Defensive First Team

Forward: Ron Artest

Forward: Kevin Garnett

Center: Ben Wallace

Guard: Bruce Bowen

Guard: Kobe Bryant

Kobe will be always be on this list along with TD or KG. Of course the Defensive Player of the Year is on the list. This year Bowen switch places with Christie for the 1st team.

NBA All-Defensive Second Team

Forward: Andrei Kirilenko

Forward: Tim Duncan

Center: Theo Ratliff

Guard: Doug Christie

Guard: Jason Kidd

Finally, AK-47 is on the list. No surprises with J. Kidd and TD making. I'm surprised that Ratliff made it instead of Shaq.

why is kobe on the first team?

half the time he plays lackadaisal(sp) defense.

sportswriters are stupid.

period.

The media loves him. He will always be on the NBA First Team and Defensive First Team but he has yet to win MVP and he won't win it unless he leaves LA.

I'm surprised they didn't give it to Duncan for a third straight undeserving year

How exactly did Duncan not deserve it? last year it should have been KG

the year before it should have been Kidd you = on crack.

tim duncan

25.5 points

12.7 rebounds

3.7 assists

2.5 blocks

51% fg

80% ft

2002-03

kevin garnett

23 points

13.5 rebounds

6 assists

1.6 blocks

50% fg

51-31 record

tim duncan

23.3 points

3.9 assists

2.5 blocks

51% fg

71% ft

60-22 record

2001-02 it wasnt even that close

2002-03 you can make a case for garnett...but the media generally weighs team record a lot also....and duncan's team was greatly superior.

Their individual matchups if i recall are a wash.

Suns in 2000-2001: 51-31 (w/ Kidd)

Nets in 2000-2001: 26-56 (w/out Kidd)

Suns in 2001-2002: 36-46 (w/out Kidd)

Nets in 2000-2001: 52-30 (w/ Kidd)

That's why Kidd should've been MVP

And Garnett's 02-03 numbers were better than Duncan's and Duncan had more support

Duncan is the best in the NBA. But he didn't deserve MVP the last two years

I feel that KG should have gotten the award last year but that was the past and the race was pretty close. This year the race wasn't close at all. KG received 120 1st votes to TD's 0 but that doesn't matter. Both are great and franchise players.

The big 4 in the NBA:

garnett's numbers in 02-03 were better in a couple of categories but only in assists really...

of course duncan did a much better job in blocked shots.

thats a product of the style each plays.

and how do you think the spurs would do without duncan?

think.

finally.....kidd is not top 5 in the nba....let alone top 4.

hell shaq is living on reputation alone these days.
