I'm saying this becuz i don't want to wear him out.l Fox was worn out yesterday, and he wasn't as sharp as he usually is. I don't want the same thing to happen to Benitez becuz we need him in this series against the Braves. We cant pitch him everyday and only give him one day off here and there. I think they should have left Bump in there, or maybe bring in someone else. What do u guys think?

Armando is a worrior I dont think he will have a trouble with pitching so much. Rember last weekend he saved all 3 vs the Phillies and then was out there throwing the next series vs Montreal. Hopefully over the weekend we can continue to hit like we have the last couple days and we wont have any save situations to worry about because were so far out in front.

Good move by Jack IMO. Bump has not played that long in a long time, and he was going to face Abreu and Thome. Good move to bring in Benitez! Another sweep over the Phillies.

Well yeah, he doesn't hurt now but Angeleyes is worried about how he'll feel in August. Its not about whether or not he can perform like this so frequently, its whether or not he'll get burned out.

I agree, but Bump was tiring out there. Hanging breaking balls and letting pitches get away. I don't think he could ahve gotten the last out. I would have much rather used Phelps (or OMGNunez )

He'd already warmed up twice so it would have been a wasted day not to pitch him. I think he should have been in a batter early after they made it a 3-run game. If its a save situation and your closer is warmed up and available then get him in. Especially if he's been as dominating as Mando thus far.

I agree with angeleyes....A win is a win, yes, but you have to think that we have a season ahead and you need to watch out for your player's health. Nevertheless, it's true that once he's warmed up, it would be a waste not to pitch him.
