I'm sorry, I can't deal with DO anymore. And quite frankly, I think too much attention is being given to other possible replacements.

 

- We have three lefties in the pen right now. That is way too many, and you can see it in situations like today's game where Matt Perisho, a lefty specialist, pitches to righties and it bites us in the butt.

- DO is stinking up the joint right now. No need to elaborate we all know the numbers.

- Phelps had experience last year as a starter, and did alot better than job than not only we expected at the time but was the best of all the replacement starters and was way better than DO has been.

 

I say send DO down, put Phelps in the 5th slot and call a righty up to the pen. Say maybe a Ben Howard or something. Phelps gives you the same thing DO does, except he is alot more effective and has more room for improvement than DO has.
