May 4, 200422 yr I listen to a lot of classic punk rock (that means the REAL DEAL not a bunch of high school age wussies singing about break-ups). I listen to the Ramones, Black Flag and the Misfits (every day on the Misfits; best band EVER, IMO). Also, you should go into yuor local record store and check out their jazz selection. I'm serously starting to get into that stuff because of the House of Music at OSU.
May 4, 200422 yr Love the Eagles, Pink Floyd, and Foreigner. I also enjoy John Coltrane, Dave Brubeck, and Miles Davis. That would be my primary group of artists I listen to from the old school.

May 4, 200422 yr Classic rock? Charlie Daniels, Skynyrd, etc. Classic country, Hank Jr!!! yes. CDB, Skynyrd, Allman Brothers, .38 Special, Marshall Tucker, Outlaws, ZZ Top, etc. Hank Jr. is in there for classic country, as is Waylon, Willie, Johnny Cash (not just country though). I also like B.B. King, the Eagles, some Foreigner, some Tom Petty...wow, I can't even remember all the old music I listen to. Throw the Beatles in there. Some Parliament Funkadellic...I'll post more when they come to me.

May 5, 200422 yr I find myself listening to primarily classic rock as of late. The Beatles are always good, especially their later stuff.
