Sweet! Rohleder did nothing impressive in Greensboro, but drew 2 walks in his first Jupiter start. *3B Joe Dillon was promoted from Carolina to Albuquerque where he is hitting 200/292/400 in 20AB. (BA/OBP/SLG) Journey-man player who provides nice insurance in case of injury. He lit up Carolina. Maybe another indicator of Hermida's imminent promotion?
May 6, 200422 yr I was a little surprised to see Rohleder at Greensboro again this year when he was the only player to make the SAL all-stars. I does llok like something is about to happen though.
May 6, 200422 yr Yesterday, Yorman Bazardo threw a 2-hit shutout for Jupiter. This kid's 19 years old and looks like a very promising prospect. Also, I know this guy isn't a prospect but journeyman firstbaseman Admin Sutton is hitting .400 in AAA with 6 homers and an OPS of about 1.200. Wow!
May 7, 200422 yr From floridamarlins.com While Hermida is a few years away from reaching the Major Leagues, the organization is in no rush to promote him to Double-A. That call could come in the second half of the season.
