batting practice

Featured Replies

It must start about 2 hours before game time. If you go in as the gates open you will get 15 minutes of Marlins practice before the visiting team takes the field.

Yeah One Hour and a half before gametime.

If game is at 7:05 PM then they open at 5:30

If they open at 6:05 they will open the gates at 4:30

If they open at 1:05 they will open the gates at 11:30

If they open at 4:05 they will open at 2:30.

Yeah the gates open an hour and a half before the game. But the Marlins hit 1st so I ususally miss them last night I was there with for the Dodgers BP and my friend got a ball from Odalis Perez and my bro got one from someone else.

The Marlins take BP from 4:45 to 5:30 for 7:05 games and gates open 1 1/2 hours before the start of the game. If you're early you can usually watch the visitors hit but not the Marlins. For 3:05 games the Fish hit from 12:50 to 1:35.

We got 3 balls tonight. Josh Beckett threw us one. JP another. And then David Wells put one in my son's glove. :thumbup

We were in the outfield but failed to get a ball, although Josh warned us about one that got lost in the sun, it fell right in front of us on the outfield. Thanx for the heads up Josh :D
