May 12, 200422 yr WEll, i bought the miami herald yesterday because i thought that the 2 for tuesday coupon was supposed to be found in TUesdays paper... but it wasn't there. I don't know if maybe the coupon is supposed to be in next tuesdays paper... but that wouldn't make any sense because then it'll be the same day of the game... and all the good seats will be taken :confused Can someone please tell me when and where to find this coupon?
May 13, 200422 yr The coupon comes out on Tuesdays when the team is in town... Umm...Collect the coupons though..... Not that many people go to Tuesday games in the first place.
May 13, 200422 yr Yeah whats this two for Tuesday thing? with a coupon found in the miami herald on tuesdays, you can purchase 2 tickets for the price of one. this is a great deal given that there will be good seats available on tuesdays this year. I don't want to bring up an old issue, but its just tough to get to the pro during the week, no matter where you are coming from (dade broward palm beach). getting out of work at 5:00 , its just too difficult to make it to a weekday game at this supposed ideal site. In my opinion, the current location works well for football because these games take place on the weekend, but for a baseball schedule, the stadium needs to be located in an area that can support it during the weekdays. this is why i belive that it has to be located in either central dade, central broward, or central palm beach, but a neutral site taht is semi-convenient for everyone but not super convenient for anyone like the pro will not be satisfactory for baseball. hopefully with a new park in miami, many dade citizens will support the team throughout the week and not just the weekends.

Lol....if you read your reply it's funny how you start by talking about 2 for Tuesday coupons and then went off on a tangent about where the stadium should be located. Way to get that in there..... Trying to JACK this thread ehh?
May 13, 200422 yr I just wish more people would attend the weekday games, but i understand the difficulties of getting to the pro during weekdays. I like this 2 for tuesday deal, but in the long run, a stdium that caters to one particular area will help in filling the seats during the week.
May 13, 200422 yr I am going to start using the two for tuesdays thing. I got to tuesday games all the time but I just always got fish tank. I might as well sit in the good seats for half price.
May 13, 200422 yr I saw a two for tuesday coupon in the newspaper when i was reading it in in school, they had the coupon during a homestand on tuesday.
May 13, 200422 yr Author What seats apply? Terrace Box seats... they are originally $18. So if u get two it'll be $9 each. Does anybody know how the veiw is from that section?

May 13, 200422 yr Another way the Marlins are beefing up attendance is that any season ticket holder who wishes to cash in season tickets for future games must pick games on a Monday or Tuesday or eat the price of the ticket. Pretty clever, huh?!?! I was told I could do it for any Mon-Thur game, maybe I misunderstood, but they seemed to say that full-season holders could get anything but weekend games...
May 13, 200422 yr What seats apply? Terrace Box seats... they are originally $18. So if u get two it'll be $9 each. Does anybody know how the veiw is from that section? I moved upstairs after many seasons in the first and third base terrace boxes. It was great when the stadium was empty but no more. Some of the TB seats down the third base side where it curves inward around the opponent's bullpen give you a good view. Lots of heavy drinking and stuff so it's not always an appropriate place for a kid. The problem with the terraces boxes are three-fold - they face out into the outfield so you have to crain your neck to watch what's happening with every pitch, when the game is packed people are always in the aisles interrupting your view of the infield (they aren't steep enough for baseball) and lastly the beer, hot dog, peanut, vendors are in the aisles all the freakin' time. Either move upstairs or buy the next seats up (price-wise). The infield boxes are $28 (that's $14 each with the two-fer) or the $30 club seats are even better.
