Pudge Breaking out of his slump?

Featured Replies

Do you think its safe to say yet, after tonight that Pudge is now heated up?

let me know what you think

No. Everyone said DLee was after his 4 for 4. But what since? Plain old s***!

One good game doesnt mean anything. The teal blinded optimist will say yes it means he is breaking out, but the multi-colored realist will tell you it means squat.

in May he hit around .169

so far in June he is hitting 6/22=.272

he is hitting better, but still not close to his career average

He better get his average up soon rather than later... no he is hitting better than .272, during the last six games he had been hitting .305. And after tonights game and going 1 for 3 he is prob hitting .310 in the month of june

pudge is hitting .333 in his last 7 games dating back to may 31

he has gone .333,

is he heating up?thats he question we need that clutch bat at the 3rd hole

I think he will start producing after the allstar break. He hit a long homerun yesterday but it still doesnt convince me. He has had some injury's and i underastand that. I cant wait untill he starts being the "old" Pudge

Maybe you should check out his career stats...

They might 'convince' you... :p

How are career stats supposed to convince someone that Pudge is coming out of his slump? His slump is about how he is doing this season and especially more recently. We all know hes been great the last 12 years, we need him to produce now. If were going by career stats, then we should put Andre Dawson and Tony Perez out there.

Not career stats, but the last 7 games, and in general he's been hitting the ball better.

I was responding to Wild Card's post that career stats should convince us that Pudge is coming out of his slump, which doesnt make sense to me.
