Chappelle May Play Rick James Again

Featured Replies

According to reports, Dave Chappelle is in negotiations to play the role of Rick James in the movie version of his book "Memoirs of a Super Freak". I'd be first in line to see that. :thumbup

HAHA...too bad Dave Chappelle looks nothing like Rick James, but he sure is funny as hell playing him.

Yes, but if he's PLAYING the autobiographical Rick James then he won't say "I'm Rick James b***h!" until at least the end of the movie.

By the way, he happened to be at a function that the OSU Hockey Team was at last season and they all took a picture with him and the dude raised his drink in the air and said: "I'm Rock James b***h!" Good to see Rick James has picked up something from someone lampooning him.

I would pick the Old Dirty Bastard to play Rick James.

I read about that in SI. Funny stuff.

You're Cold as Ice Charlie Murphy!!

This cant be too serious, unless the movie is a comedy.

Wouldn't 90 minutes of "Im Rick James b***h" get old?
