I have sources that say third round selection Greg Burns was signed and assigned to the Gulf Coast League and sixth round choice Bradley McCann agreed to terms a week ago and slated to joined Jamestown.

Burns is supposed to have some upside. Better keep an eye on him...

I added Brad Davis and a couple others including 8th round pick Craig Molldrem who is also currently playing for Jamestown.

I read somewhere that Tankersley was sent to Jamestown, so I'd look for him to make his debut sometime in the next few days.

A little update on how these guys are doing in Jamestown.

16th round pick Brian Cleveland has been very impressive so far batting .400 in 45 at. He doesn't look like much of a power guy, but sure has shown the ability to get on base.

6th round pick Brad McCann has also had a nice start to his professional career. He's batting .356 with a .600 slugging percentage in 45 at-bats. He has 6 doubles a triple and 1 homer while driving in 6 runs.

9th round pick Joe Pietro, has batted leadoff for the Jammers. He's batting .295 he has 3 stolen bases, and has drawn 10 walks, the most on the team.

20th round pick Rhett James has pitched 5 scoreless innings so far for the Jammers, all in relief. He has only allowed 1 hit and 3 walks, while striking out 7.

14th round pick Patrick Hogan has been the Jammers closer. He has an era of 1.42 in 6.1 innings, and has 4 saves. He's allowed a single earned run and 5 hits while walking 2 and K'ing 10.

BA Mets Draft Database

Not sure how up to date it is because on the marlins database they didn't have Vargas or Davis marked as signed yet.
