June 24, 200422 yr Right now, I am working with Clear Channel to get the HEAT on radio here in Fort Myers. that only will happen if they can make a buck off it. You don't know what you are talking about. The Heat affiliate doesn't need to pay for the rights, all they need is to hire the board op (most likely done) and will not cost the affiliate anything more because it is a barter system. The network/HEAT sell part of the ads, the local station gets the other ad time. The HEAT and Clear Channel have not been able to convince a station that there are enough HEAT fans here and that is why they are not on radio. Also the station claims that WIOD's signal could be gotten here in theory, but Cuban interference and interference from WDAE in Tampa on 620 make it almost impossible.

June 24, 200422 yr Das, The HEAT's radio contract is with Clear Channel. Now in Miami they have games on Clear Channel owned WIOD (similar to WOAI in San Antonio), in Palm Beach they have games on Clear Channel owned WBZT. Here in Fort Myers, Clear Channel does not own an AM station. So they are affiliated with the Fort Myers/Meridian Broadcasting Company. I must now convince them that there are enough fans here to take Clear Channel's offer to carry the games.
June 24, 200422 yr From Mr. Bolger's e-mail We are aware of the interference problems. Unfortunatly, it involves international statesmanship so the process is slow. I know the HEAT would love to have a Ft Myer's affiliate. At this point, neither the HEAT or our station, as flagship, can impress upon some local affiliate to carry at least some of the games. Best thing you can do is call them up and ask. I know I haven't told you what you wanted to hear, but hope this helps. Thank you for at least trying to listen! They need to be convinced that there are HEAT fans in the Ft Myers area. HEAT have told me they do draw from your area - but would like to be able to draw more. That's why they do an exhibition game every year at your local arena. Cost shouldn't be an issue - may be as little as the cost of a board operator to run the games locally. Have the station GM call me. I wil be happy to answer their questions or concerned.
June 24, 200422 yr If you ran a business, would you do something that would clearly lose alot of money for you?

June 24, 200422 yr I heard that in Hannity's book "Let Freedom Ring" he gives everyone a detailed explanation of what fisting is.
June 24, 200422 yr I also consider Racist and attacks on someone's background worse than talking about sex: Classic Rush quotes "?have you ever noticed how all composite pictures of wanted criminals resemble Jesse Jackson?" ""The NAACP should have riot rehearsal. They should get a liquor store and practice robberies"" " "I don't give a hoot that [Columbus] gave some Indians a disease that they didn't have immunity against"" " Why should Blacks be heard? They're 12% of the population. Who the hell cares."" " If we are going to start rewarding no skills and stupid people-- I'm serious, let the unskilled jobs that take absolutely no knowledge whatsoever to do--let the stupid and unskilled Mexicans do that work." " I despise Censorship but Stern does nothing more than regular contributors to our society do on both sides.

Think about it, it is right under your nose.... my penis? if it was aimed at me, it is obviously not true. how many damn times have I defended free speech? A billion to be precise.
June 25, 200422 yr Author He cited a recent case in Long Island where 11 year-olds reportedly were exposed to a discussion about swallowing semen, gang-banging, golden showers, and anal/oral sex. Hmm, sean hannity, how indecent of you. Limbaugh: . Just like there's the most incredible story, and I actually had this, got it over the weekend. Where is this story? Oral sex -- can I say oral now without getting bleeped in Indianapolis? You heard about this? You see the front page of the New York Times today? I got bleeped 11 times in Indianapolis for using the word orgy, damn, and what's the other word? I forget. [talking to program observer] Urinate! Because it's an Emmis owned station and Emmis stations have been fined so they're not taking any chances. So I get this headline: Oral Sex to Cut Rates of Teenage Pregnancy, and I say, hmm, I'm sure I can say oral, but can I say sex? I can sail oral cavity, except how many people -- you go out and say epidermis, a lot of people think you're making a sex joke because they don't know what epidermis is. But look at this, this is from the UK Guardian, Oral Sex Lessons to Cut Rates of Teenage Pregnancy. Did you hear this, Dawn? You have young daughters. Oral sex recommended to cut rates of teenaged pregnancy. And you watch, it won't be long before this will be heralded as one of the great legacies of the Clinton years. Folks, somebody asked you what you think about this prisoner thing just tell them the truth and I guarantee you the more people you will tell the truth will say yeah, I agree with you, than you know. Where are the f*cking fines? Bam, 3 million dollar fine anyone? of course not, the freedom of speech is being destroyed.

Hmm, sean hannity, how indecent of you. You should be ashamed of yourself Mr. Soriano, you offended our president and this great conservative movement. This is what I can't stand about liberals Hey, Alan did you get my car out of the garage?

June 25, 200422 yr Author I think we should all agree on the following 100% and should stand behind it: 1. FCC political regulations should NOT be political 2. Indecency standards should be spelt out and hold everyone tot he same standard, and alstly, not be retroactive the very fact that "conservatives" here aren't standing up for the previous just shows how much mroe alleigance they have to their ideology than principle and country.
