Marlins (31-35) vs Brewers (25-38)

6/12 Gametime 2:05, Forecast - Partly cloudy

On the Mound

- vs -

Carl Pavano ---- Matt Kinney

5-6, 4.21 -------- 4-4, 3.87

HC's preview :compute Carl Pavano will look for a repeat of his last performance as the Florida Marlins go for their sixth straight road game for the first time in eight years and complete a three-game sweep of the Milwaukee Brewers.

Against the Anaheim Angels last Friday, Pavano was dominating, allowing just a run and three hits while fanning six. The only walk he issued was intentional, and he retired the last 18 batters he faced.

Pavano's control this season has been impeccable. In his last six starts he has walked just 5 batters. "When I get up in the zone, my ball's flat and anyone can hit it," Pavano said. "I was trying to change speeds early and I just got in a good rhythm."

He'll try to find that rhythm again as the Marlins look for their third series sweep of the season.

The Marlins have won a season-high five straight road games, their longest such streak since May 1997. They won a franchise-high eight straight in 1995.

NOTES:

Marlins - The Marlins have committed just two errors in their last seven road games.

Florida pitchers have allowed 44 home runs this season, the fewest in the majors.

:marlins lets keep on winning and lets try to sweep the brewers

my prediction 7-1 marlins.

Pavano's set down 9 in a row. Heart of the order coming up in the 4th, I'm feeling some Marlins runs.....

I'm feeling some Marlins runs.....

nevermind, maybe that was just the Chinese food from lunch..

Home Run Richie Sexson....

1-0 Brew Crew

someone on the Marlins lineup needs to do something...

We'll get that run back.

An error by Mr. Anti-Clutch

Hollandsworth sucks...

Man does Hollandsworth suck right now. Alex gets a bunt single & Todd grounds to the pitcher for a double-play. Brian Banks has more RBIs than Hollandsworth in about 100 fewer at-bats.

Top of the order in the 6th. Let's get some runs offense!

Pavano's pitching too well to leave him hanging out there with no support.

Both rabbits on!!! Nobody out!!!!!!!!
