There seems to be some problem with the board remembering posts you have read. I return to find unchanged posts that I previously marked as having the "new" icon next to it. I don't think this is a cookie problem - I have both logged in and out, and also deleted the cookies and signed in again. Any thoughts?

Well, is anyone else experiencing this? I'm not so want to try and see if this is a unique problem or a more universal one.

 

What browser are you using?

I was experiencing those same problems on several boards when I used IE. Any other browser has not been giving me that problem (although the IE on my laptop does not seem to have that problem....could be some of the other security guards found on that computer.)

I've got it too. I'm avoiding it by reading forums and marking the entire thing as read, but I worry after a while I may overlook posts.

If you are on IE, switch browsers. I firmly believe that IE is currently experiencing problems due to Microsoft security holes.

 

Either that, or reload the IE portions of Windows on to your hard drive.

I'll report it as a bug and see what I am told.

It works for me when I answer the threads then hit the Marlinsbaseball.com link. It then clears them.

The Mark all posts as read isn't working well either

 

Whenever I press it, it marks everything read for my current visit. However if when I return there has been a new post in that particular forum, every thread that has a post I haven't read lights up.

I'm experiencing the same problems as well and i'm using Mozilla. I also tried it on IE and Netscape and both of them experienced the same problems as well.

Any of these problems now fixed?
