July 4, 200422 yr the last six weeks has seen our team suck. in all facets of the game. but we are still right there. something has to be done....but alas one arm wont solve things....one bat wont solve things. the impact of pudge i think is still greatly overrated. you keep pudge....other areas of this team are even worse.....that i can almost guarantee you. but something has to be done....we need to get to that damn break and fast.

July 4, 200422 yr Football...pffftt...take off the pads, then we'll see a real game. Football is something to pass the time. And shut up about it. Meanwhile, the Marlins have sucked of late - but they will turn it around. My biggest concern right now is from what I am hearing - the fans and even the team itself believe they cant win with who they have that they need to make a trade. That is troubling. I dont think we need to make a trade, that we need to get consistent starting pitching and Jack has got to stop micro-managing this team. Also, this team has to go back to playing loose and not trying so damn hard. I have seen more guys throw their bats in disgust lately then just quietly running out their fly ball. We also arent really taking as many chances as we were last year - and that is hard to do when you are constantly down 3, 4, 5, runs early in the game. It all starts with pitching - which we have among the best talents in the game. The defense is there. We are still hanging around first place. It is a marathon, not a sprint.
